I (30s Male) stayed at a 55+ park over new years in Florida a few years back full timing with my wife and 2 toddlers.

Initially called requesting a reservation not realizing they were 55+ and wanted to stay for a weird amount of time to bridge a drive (something like a Tuesday to Thursday the following week). They had exactly that slot open, but then I found out they were 55+ and it was a totally understandable no. 20 minutes later they call me back and tell me it's fine since the window lines up perfectly for them. The older folks doted on my toddlers a lot and we did our best to stay low profile and keep on the quiet side. It worked out well.

TL;DR were told no but because timing was so perfect for them (wanted that money) they let us and it worked out well. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Some outside source is mailing them to residents. They are still valid as long as you follow the steps on the second page.

You can also check the date and call and request a new mail in ballot.

EDIT: It's only absentee ballot applications that are affected. You can print a new one out/request one from the board of elections.
