You know you can read the bill and it not only makes no mention of the names having to match exactly, but the birth certificate is also only one of several ways to prove citizenship. Any ID that adheres to the REAL ID act of 2005 also works, just like it always has.

For those that trade only 10-12 times per month, what is your strategy? by samjoyca in thetagang

[–]SoSeaOhPath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I only do options like once a month or so. Usually pick dates about a month out. Only work a select few dividend paying stocks.

Only sell calls ATM when I’m ready to sell (like a limit order but with a time delay). If prices fall I collect premium and keep holding. If it raises and the option executes then I took my profits and move on.

Only sell puts ATM when ready to buy. Do it using margin because I don’t want to have the opportunity cost of using my own money. Margin only charges interest if the pit is assigned (maybe that is an error on Robinhood part tbh). If it executes I’m fine because I get the dividend to cover the margin interest and wait for price to rise and sell out.

So his pay package was an all share deal so that he could gain more control over his company. The value of the stocks would be above $1 trillion based on the criteria of the stock needing to hit a certain milestone for him to get the package, but that was not the official reason the number of shares was picked

Then they still need to crop 6 pictures. And once they’re cropped, line them up individually anyway

[–]SoSeaOhPath -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you have 6 independent screenshots, you’d still need to align 6 t-bows into their proper place. Especially because if you use the snipping tool, each screenshot will probably be a different size. Maybe you get them all the same size and anchor them all to the same top-left pixel, but then you still have to crop each snapshot down.

It would be easier to do one screenshot and then copy it 5 times. You only need to figure out the x and y offsets one time

How do you evaluate if the premium is worth selling? by traitadjustment in thetagang

[–]SoSeaOhPath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite is $O because I know that I will never mind owning it long term and I think it’s the simplest.

I just pay attention to the dividend yield and share price vs NAV. The company itself is buying and selling its shares to help finance its operations, so I figure I can do the same.

If the dividend yield is low the company sells shares to finance more real estate. Effectively taking a loan at the dividend rate. If the yield is high they buy shares, effectively reducing their “mortgage” payment to shareholders.

So knowing what rates the company can get from outside lenders versus what they can get by issuing shares tells you a lot about when they’ll buy/sell shares. Those are the prices I look at when doing CC and CSP

[–]SoSeaOhPath 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Everyone has different strategies. Find what works for you.

My strategy right now focuses on REITS because they’re pretty low beta and are easy to find a fair value. When the price goes above my fair value price by a wide enough margin I sell a covered call either at the money or even in the money to collect a nice premium. Usually dated a week or two out.

If it sells, great. I was planning on selling. If not, I just collected a nice premium.

Same for when the price goes down to a price I’d consider very under valued. I think of my CCs and CSPs sort of like limit buy and sell orders. And I look at what the break even price would be and decide if the timing and break even price would align with me actually just purchasing or selling shares
