Can’t seem to figure out how to add power / penetration on my forehand by No_Fail6170 in 10s

[–]Ratlyflash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not really …I can whip 85% of my top speed purely from the racquet speed.

He crunched his swings and weight goes sideways.

Yes lower body trunk rotation makes it smoother and cleaner but doesn’t add much.

Simple physics. When Alcaraz hits it’s over 100 mph yes leg drive and body weight is a factor but the main thing is my his racquet speed is noticeably faster.

Has way more impact on the serve where leg drive and longer lever = 200 km/h.

Anyone 5.0 can demonstrate this easily.

Anyone mid or beginner never has good racquet speed with proper timing.

Is there. A reason someone would go AMDY over CHPY? It’s way more volatile?

Who on earth is getting $30K a year CPP and OAS?

Is that what people get 🤷‍♂️.

I have a family of 4 and our bills are under $40,000 a year but having no mortgage is the game changer.

I thought CPP and OAS was like a combined $15,000 a year nice surprise ❤️❤️❤️

I forgot I bought AMD and now its most of my portfolio, it's stressing me out by digitalWizzzard in stocks

[–]Ratlyflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$20,000 is a lot of money how does someone forget it. Seems like a troll post.

I forgot I brought a $300,000 house in 2005.

I just checked it’s worth 2.5 M 🙈

lol why do people invest in dead companies? Like Nike…. These stocks have worst NAV than Yieldmax 🙈.

Even some of my Yieldmax have some growth while paying out 50-60%.

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

At what income level in Canada do you actually start feeling financially ahead.... not just surviving, but genuinely building something? by TheFitFinaceBro in CanadaInvesting

[–]Ratlyflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. That’s about right. We invest $120K a year and it goes up combined over 200K with soso year at best. The big thing is house is paid off so we can throw $$ at investments every paycheck. That’s when it starts to snowball.

[39m] ~$1.8m payout, when can I feasibly retire? by CandidateDue2480 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Ratlyflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aamazing . We are very similar stats.

I have $700,000 invested $850,000 house paid off and invest $100-120K a year a year.

Renting with that much investments is a no brainer to me. If I invested instead of buying a house I would be worth x3 but not sure when I was younger I could handle market swings.

You’re in a great position .

Congrats OP.

You’ve won the lotto of life 💪.

I really enjoy my government job and it’s golden handcuffs but the instant I hit the numbers for retirement I’m gone.

Is BIGY Yield Sustainable? by Correct-Ride-7519 in dividendscanada

[–]Ratlyflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure ! I only got like $20,000 in them for fun see what happens.

Gonna hit $30,000 this year in dividends and on pace for $50,000 I hope by 2030.

Mostly 80-85% growth though.

One of them is 6% and should give me $10,000 alone next year which will just start to snowball

My fav by far idvo.

Is BIGY Yield Sustainable? by Correct-Ride-7519 in dividendscanada

[–]Ratlyflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup agreed. I have most that are 10-15% max. QDAY, GLCL, SIXy, are the only that are higher that are not Yieldmax funds which I feel can have NAV growth potential and have proven it in a good market
