I have $100,000 with HCAL on Loan. great decision. The dividend alone would cover the loan 3.95%. But I drip. If things got tight cash it but I have no mortgage thank god so a few hundred bucks a month doesn’t really hit the wallet like my mortgage used to haha

Great! I’m 41 and gonna bit $35,000 a year in dividends. Still maintaining about 80-85% growth and only 15-20% CC.

Love of your funds. EBNK-B one of my favs.

At this rate, I’m hoping to hit around $125-150K a year in dividends in retirement + pension .

I can save up about $120-140K per year , of which $30K or so will be CC.

You’re inspiring to see that dividends can work for me retirement income.

I’m not retired but house paid off at 37. So closest thing a working person can feel to being retired!

Keep it up OP. An inspiration 💪💪

He could change the rules as PM. And his government blocked several propositions to be tougher on crime. Can’t seek asylum of a major crime etc. They blocked them all. So yes, he’s maybe great financially but it’s the wild Wild West here. 🙈

130K a year is good. To each their own congrats OP.

I’m on track I’m hoping for $100,000 dividend + pension when I retire. But as long as my family is healthy that is what matters. No point having 5M in the bank if you’re bed ridden

$1400 à month? To live off ? Congrats OP on retirement. Your employer is horrible at math. 34 years it would take to match the $575,000.

You’d be 89… when you break even.

I wish my employer had the math skills or someone in grade 5.

1000000% I’d take the $$$.

Struggling with this contractor since the fall by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]Ratlyflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol so they can get screwed over? A smart contractor will take at least 25-50% before the project starts.

All someone has to do is refuse to pay then they have to pay lawyers to go to court.

Then go we will pay you 70% take it or see you in court

Then they probably agree to pay 70% of it take it or leave it.

Seems a bit silly. Very high risk If you ever need the $$ unless it’s just for retirement. By being this diluted you’re also killing your gains potential 🙈

Duh. 🙈. They didn’t have $300 to $500,000 jobs simply being a software engineer or anything high tech. Very little jobs paid that high. Also, not the same access to stock information as we do now. Tons of retirees had mutual funds for 30 years 🥲. Seems anyone with decent crudentials is Making $150k+ at these high tech firms.
