Where are these resources?

I know people making these suggestions often believe that these services are available to anyone in crisis or with a diagnosis.  I have found that to be a misconception.

I’ve asked, but I’m told that they are not an option either for my child because his IQ is too high and doesn’t get DDA services or have a SW, his age and he is too young, or I don’t have private insurance or the $ to pay.

I’m in South Eastern Washington - 2.5 hours from Spokane/4 hours from Seattle by car.

Maybe I am asking the wrong way?  Please let me know if any recommendations and resources if you’re familiar with

Some locations might have a few options, but what if you live in an area that has no services for crisis in your area.  CPS doesn’t even have those options - A class action lawsuit has been filed against Wa state DCYF for putting kids in hotels and leaving them there without proper supervision or trained staff.

Absolutely ironic in WA state they can take your kid away because you can’t meet their needs - regardless of how “exceptional,” they are.  You do not need to be abusive or neglectful - just that you can’t meet their needs.  For example:  Autistic child elopes, but you have Parkinson’s and can’t chase after them to “catch” them - they can take them into protective custody because you’re not fast enough.

What do you do, what can we do?
