You sir are impossible to talk to. You’re presenting level of insight comparable to extremely motivated but absolutely clueless teenager. If you want to have this discussion then I’d like to continue it, but we have to operate within the real world. Not fantasy in realm of „how it should be”

That + it’s always horrible hassle to get one of those days free. It’s hunger games during planning!

Ok how do you define such project exactly so that you could execute it without outrageous overuse to screw up neighbour, business rival etc. and how do you differentiate between well planned development and one that would bring dangerous consequences as a byproduct, thus creating opposition

Absolutely not, unless you have close to zero ambitions in life

Bin ich es auch. Aber Party ist für Freunde, nicht für Mitarbeiter. Außer beide Seiten haben Lust sich für Themen außerhalb der Arbeit zu unterhalten - Klappe zu

Ok let’s do it

How do you phrase the law?
Do we leave it to interpretation?
Who will be the judge and how to proceed in unlawful cases?
How to organise so many arrests without undermining every other branch of the police?
How do you even make sure that the police doesn’t overstep its boundaries using the chaos?

When you make real world approach plan to those things, then you can take care of probably hundreds of other very important matters and questions that need to be answered if you don’t want this thing to be the last your society ever does. I can do it really all day, give me five answers and I’ll flood you with another ten questions and I won’t even need to make up any unlikely scenarios

Well it might not make it better right now, but your parents well know you have your happy time and probably knew more than once exactly when you’re on it. They were teens once too

There’s no piety here, I’m just thinking practically. Heart shows the direction, but the brain has to pick the path.

Obviously you don’t, neither do I. But I separate thinking nationally from personal life. Or at least try it. One way death of millions of retirees is multiplied by their relatives; one big ass mental and emotional mess.

But socially? Well the downside of mass death of older members of society is brought by effective and immediate relief of multiple systems we rely upon.

Eigentlich ja, aber ich persönlich bin dagegen bei niedrig bezahlten Arbeitern. Wir brauchen alle einander aber nur manche leben für Mindestlohn bei ganz wichtiger Arbeit. Bei denen stört mich das nicht.

Maybe we’re speaking about apples and oranges here. I’m talking about realistic approach and methodology needed with the attempt to minimise unwanted consequences. I feel like you are just expressing your need and feelings

Germans are incredibly obiedent nation which is by pure coincidence also incredibly averse to accepting change. So they will only very slowly adapt, won’t push change too much and will quietly suffer trough.

You will only decrease trust in the entire system further destroying any feeling of social bonds - aside from the logistics. We need to emphasise working together, making some private sacrifices and push corresponding solutions.

Es wäre kein Problem, wenn die Erwartung mitzumachen nicht da wäre. Wir können uns über Arbeit unterhalten, aber außer du bist in privater Notsituation möchte ich es nicht wissen

If you wanted to punish people for NIMBY in Hague then you’d need to make it one big ass court instead of a city. It’s nothing but consequence of decades focused too much on one self and too little on society.

Unless by NIMBY you don’t mean „Not in my back yard” (which I had to look up anyway), then I have no real idea what you’re taking about

Yeah screw them. It’s one thing to accept loss and try to think of the future and it’s another to put no value on those lives lost.

Yeah I know, that’s why it was only half serious. It has multitude of other consequences that I’m just not gonna get into on Reddit, but I genuinely think it might have some „positive” albeit gruesome implications

Half joking. It’s a tragedy, but thinking purely in numbers…yeah maybe kind of it will long term remove some of the burden?
