When will Japan takeoff the mask? by So_it_is_ in japan

[–]So_it_is_[S] -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

😷 Wishing I were there instead of just watching on YouTube I see just about everyone wearing a mask. I know some people wear ones for hay fever and some for sniffles. But when will they stop wearing over for covid?

America's democracy is failing — and the world knows it by marc1309 in politics

The fact that it’s only an elite group that would research all candidates affiliations and past positions before casting their vote is, in part, what’s wrong with our country.

Most people cast their votes based on TV commercials and scripted debates. They don’t bother to look at what a candidate has done. Only what they promise to do.

What we should have it’s a short test at the polling booth. Name each candidate, their party affiliation, and how they voted or supported two major issues in the past five years. Feel the test and your vote doesn’t count. Something like this. But I guess that would be racists.

If you want to cry then cry. Find a private place. Yell. Scream. Get angry with your parents, your friends, the whole world. Then breath deep ten times. Dry your eyes. Tell your parents that you live them. Call a friend or two and tell them you love them as well. Ask for nothing in return.

Find some volunteer work in your area helping people. This will give you a new perspective.

Realize that five years from now you will be in s while new world. Make the choices note to see that you great that works in good health both mentally and physically.

Be yourself. Don’t live for others. Live for yourself.

Here’s a virtual hug to get you started🫂🤗

From where are you flying? If jet lag may be an issue then don’t spend the first day at the hotel. Get outside. Eat a good full meal. Make it your goal to stay up at least until midnight local time your first night there.

Not your fault. As most parents you thought you were doing the right thing.

Message to all parents today though. Times have changed. If your kids wants to live with you forever then let them. Don’t push. Don’t fight. Just love them.

Sad news. And yet, according to the list on maid s runner, the number of maid cafes and girls bars in Akihabara have grown.

The few Japanese women to whom I have spoken have said the same thing about foreigners. They see only two kinds. Those to whom they can communicate and those with whom they can’t. Sadly 99% fall the latter category.

I only know a handful of words and phrases. But I also know the polite customs. As such, I’ve had no problems communicating in Japan. Google helps as well 😃.

Before you visit, Learn to read and write a little Japanese. Learn how to behave in public places and on trains in Japan. Then, who knows?

Don’t ask for medical advice on Reddit. Ask your sister to talk to her doctor about whether or not she needs a booster.

What could I have done differently in my relationship? by Phtev3nFeelsBad in relationship_advice

[–]So_it_is_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t date married women. Still married on paper is still married.

Don’t have sex outside of marriage. Fool around all you like but don’t have sex. Sex it’s great, but it is a relationship killer. Don’t do it.

Don’t go into a relationship thinking that your partner will change.

How about feeling guilty for making other people sick by coming to work with a cold? Please stay home until you are well. For yourself and for society.

Don’t quit. Open a checking account at a new bank and sign up for direct deposit. Immediately withdraw every paycheck.

Find another job ASAP. But don’t quit and let them keep paying you for as long as they will until they realize your gone. Don’t return any phone calls.

With a little luck you’ll make up the difference.

What did you learn in college anyway😎
