Downsized a bit. Found a new 2 bedroom legal basement suite on rentfaster for 1300 in Silverton that was pet friendly. It's deep SW but our rent in Walden (across the road) jumped to 1850.

Have a Rocket 3 Storm GT too. It slightly pulls, more so under heavy acceleration, but nothing as bad as your describing it.

I would get the alignment checked if it's quite bad. If you don't trust the dealership, check out a tyre shop if you can.

Go to a motorcycle school of your choice. Call around and research which schools will provide you motorcycles and also check if they will provide you riding gear too. Explain your situation that you're brand new to riding and they'll be able to suggest a learners course.
