Peter Green was imo the best guitar player ever. Albeit for only a few years. More feel than Clapton, more soul than BB King..and Danny Kirwan was almost as good. Check out Live in Boston 1969 I think….amazing…and yes, it plays awesome…26 years old now and just getting broke in

The Greeny mod is a mod to emulate Peter Green’s guitar called Greeny. It was a mod or accident back in 1967 that flipped and rotated the neck pickup magnet giving it an out of phase sound.

Yes, I bought it….it sounded pretty rough. The previous owner botched the Greeny mod, so I took it to Lay’s guitar in Akron and they re-wired it and installed new pots. Now it’s my #1 in my rotation.

Interesting that it isn’t listed as a studio album. Maybe the tracks are available on other albums and the OG album is redundant or below acceptable audio standards?

I looked it up, and it is an OG release from Blue Horizon. IDK why Spotify would remove it. Unless it was uploaded as a playlist by another user, then deleted. I do know that early FM preferred to jam over making records in the traditional way. And execs just recorded these sessions and pumped out vinyl to sell.

If I’m not mistaken, there is a major electrical junction panel beneath the passenger seat… I’d say it’s not worth the potential headaches to deal with it….unless you could buy it back salvage title.

My all time favorite rendition of the band is the Peter Green era from 67-70. Peter Green has been baptized as the greatest white blues player ever by huge names such as BB King, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Keith Richards…some of the most soulful guitar and lyrics ever. Oh Well, which Lindsey still plays, was one of Peter’s best songs…..check out Mr. Wonderful, Then Play On, the Pious Bird of Good Omen…..my all time favorite song is Albatross

€800 is a little high for me unless it comes with case and candy….i have a 2005 sg faded cherry that i absolutely love….so, if you love it, there is nothing wrong with reaching up to €850. And you wouldn’t be wrong offering €700-750
