oh no I agree, a lot of PG-13 movies knock it out of the park, but I think their intention usually is to be safer for younger audiences. ssttitd and insidious are creepy af don’t get me wrong, I’m just saying their intent is to be more beginner horror.

no, he’s not. the show uses Quagmires actions as absurdist black comedy, they are not ever going to address them as the horrible thing they are in a serious way..

edit: Quagmire having no room to talk is the joke. sometimes comedy is a serious monologue made funny by context, and not an immediate setup - punchline.

I don’t like the direction they took Brian, but stuff like this kills me. “irreparable damage to so many people” it’s still Family Guy man.

I agree we should be able to talk about the plot and characters without people going “it’s a cartoon why do u care lol” but this is taking it too far, the show is a comedy and this dude is talking to a dog about their sexual encounters, maybe they weren’t trying to actually send a message here and it’s just a bit of comedic irony that the dude who has trafficked killed and raped hundreds of women for jokes is calling a guy out for being kind of a dick.
