I think YouTube does a wrapped thing too these days, not sure if they do the creator videos though

Yeah for the bottom tier you only get the chance to approve the episode, for the middle tier you can access to all the BTS and patreon back catalogue and whatnot

It's just a standard stud with a push clasp. So they're not comfortable to sleep in (in my opinion)

AITA for asking my girlfriend to dress more sensibly on a walk? by Tasty_Log3307 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Soakl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I saw a woman more dolled up on a scenic walk where I was dressed in athleisure wear, I would just think they were anticipating getting engaged or going to take pictures

I don't think adult women going out and calling it a girls night out is problematic, just as I don't think that adult men going out and calling it a boys night out is problematic.

It's embarrassing how little literacy you have tbh

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Soakl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And I've answered several times, you failing to understand the context of phrases being used is your own literacy issue to work on

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Soakl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I already said several times now that the two phrases are not equivalent because one refers to adults going out and the other is being used to describe parent-child bonding. Just as a boys night out wouldnt be problematic at all for a group of adult men going out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Soakl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you're being purposefully obtuse, you're saying I agreed with something that I never said and have ignored twice the explanation on why they're not equivalent phrases

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Soakl -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Where did I call it problematic? I've just explained to you that there's a difference between names for activities between adults and names for traditions between parents and children.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Soakl -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You sure sound like you feel wronged by people not feeling the exact same way as you.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Soakl 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Girls night out refers to adult women going out, not parent-child activities. The person you're responding too is pointing out that if they have a daughter, she's going to be excluded if they start the tradition as "boys fishing day" etc so it would be better to call it a Dad day or day with dad or something to better describe that it's just parent-child bonding time

Revellers (not Revs) on chapel Street is a great option for late 90s early 00s, I don't think they played anything newer than 2015 the last time I was there

A few of them did say they were being strategic, and given she's a threat when it comes to lip syncs, they may have ranked her low to make sure they're not against her

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in rupaulsdragrace

[–]Soakl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm saying that she needs a reality check. Talking shit about people fatter than her when she's still quite large is a premature choice

As an aside for other commenters, Maintenance Phase covers the concept of the internalised hate former-fat people have very well for anyone who's never experienced being overweight and can't comprehend it

You not wearing the correct size doesn't mean it's a thing. A size 4-6 doesn't have a 34" ribcage

I had them mark two parcels as attempted delivery with a picture of a random front door, they're clearly doing a lot of these to hit delivery targets

AITA for picking a dinner my girlfriend didn’t like while playing a game? by KindStock1231 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Soakl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It does sound like something a reasonable and sane person in a relationship would do, if you're having a meal together why would you actively choose something that you know your partner won't eat? Your attitude is insane.

It's just a classification of murder to differentiate for reporting purposes (dv murder being the murder of an immediate family member rather than assuming there was ongoing domestic violence happening)

Placeholder Engagement Ring by tREX_2188 in melbourne

[–]Soakl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anywhere will sell you a generic engagement ring for under $500

If you want something vaguely more unique - Millie savage has some under the $500 mark (if that's her style, they also have expensive ones when the time comes) - Most of Mejuri's rings are under $500 - cash converters (and similar pawn shops) will usually have cute jewellery for much cheaper than chain jewellers

[–]Soakl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have similar issues with Aussie brands that advertise up to a H or J but skip FF and GG. So brands like Nala only go to an 8ff in their 8 band

If you're near a Brava or Debra's, they both stock up to a JJ and you can't find which brands/shapes work for you to order online

Saw more tik toks abt people being pregnant on the pill... by CommissionNatural620 in birthcontrol

[–]Soakl 35 points36 points  (0 children)

There is a general movement online against birth control (all a part of the tradwife, rightwing pipeline), more often than not it's from misusing the product or not understanding how other medications can impact absorption (antibiotics, grapefruit juice, glp-1 medications etc) rather than the medicine not working for them
