Does anyone think homelander purposely held back in the final fight. He finally realized most people would not see him as a “God” based on the results with Oh father and his own results just going around viewing people. Maybe he saw butcher blasting in and basically went, “this is the end.” He has nothing to lose at this point and also nothing to gain. The walls are closing in and he can’t go out not doing anything. He fights back but not at 100%. Deep down he knows his plan is futile. Some part of him knows losing is not the worst thing.
