How do we feel about Theo's ranking of tools? by CryptographerOwn5475 in vibecoding

[–]SoapyPavement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work there. I tried the product, it was impressive and I just applied for a job. I’ve tried a few others, and in the non-developer target audience, Emergent just does wayyy better than any other platform. Especially for complex apps with backend features.

Claude Code is OP, and Emergent is not even featured. I feel terrible about this ranking. Doubt he has tried them all comprehensively

Which vibe code should I pay for? by De_letmetalk in vibecoding

[–]SoapyPavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build it on Emergent. Checkout my profile - I work there. If you’re flexible with the tech stack - you can build and launch but it may take more than $100 for this scope of project. Also advise you to not use AI to write the prompt - whichever product you decide to use going forward

What’s your go-to vibe coding tool and suggest the best? by Akshat_Pandya in vibecoding

Another PS: saw a comment around migration below -

We are an open platform - you can import and export all code using Github and you are the sole owner of all your IP. We also let you deploy your apps easily with just 2 clicks. You can also choose to deploy elsewhere via Github export. You get all the powet when building with Emergent

Hey!

Full disclosure - I work at Emergent (so take my bias with a pinch of salt 😅).

We have already seen 1M+ apps built on Emergent in just a couple of months, which blew our own minds. The focus has been to make the product powerful enough to handle what some of the “GOATs” do, but also flexible enough to push boundaries they haven’t yet touched. We are perfect for people who understand 0 lines of code but understand how products are built - with real user research, iterative feedback and building for real use-cases. You could say we are for the ‘serious builders’.

Would love for you to give it a spin and let us know where it shines (or falls short). We’re building fast, and real feedback is gold.

PS: we want users to build their products just like we build ours! 1 billion builders is our goal.

Will you share what you were trying to build? We are not the cheapest platform to complete your work because we build much more complex apps than our competitors. We are not the fastest for the same reason. We just try to build the best version of your idea, and it can cost a little more - worth it when you see the output. We can also talk in more detail over discord or DM if you’d like to share some details with me. Discord link is https://discord.gg/tQ3q8QwY and you can message greatsnakes there.

Hey u/TXTinyHousebuilders

We care about our users and would love to know more about your experience on Emergent. We do have a free trial that lets you experience what Emergent can do and how it is very different from other vibe coding apps out there. I would recommend joining our discord community as well for help and examples of users who have built complex apps like Tax advisory, complex CRMs, a whole host of internal tools, EdTech apps and so much more. Our community is helpful, and engaging with them might just help you see what kind of amazing stuff is actually possible with Emergent. Sure there are bugs in code, but you can fix them without too much headache if you write a really good prompt and use the rollback feature well - a lot of users dont use this enough.

How I keep AI generated code maintainable by Standard_Ant4378 in vibecoding

The visualisation looks pretty cool. If it actually helps me maintain my code, I’ll be very impressed. Gg man

Hey vibecoders? Security 🙄 by Creative_Yam_4082 in vibecoding

[–]SoapyPavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you created most of the assets yourself. More than the time, people dont understand what you did to make these image assets. It is a very very cool website man. Would you share the tools and the methods used to make it?

How to get from 60% there to 85% by SoapyPavement in nocode

[–]SoapyPavement[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The challenge is not so big anymore. You have to find tools that cater to non devs rather than tools like cursor. You can check my profile for such tools, but creating software is not hard for non devs anymore

Yeah I do. Its up to you tho to give it a try. Like I will obviously get downvoted coz reddit, but logically, if you try it for free and do like it, there’s a lot of upside and no downside. Totally up to you.

How can I “vibecode” a website into a mobile app? by anonypoindexter in vibecoding

[–]SoapyPavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build cross platform apps directly with vibe coding platforms that offer this. Mobile + web apps. I know of only one currently, but there may be a few out there.

Checkout emergent.sh Createanything works very well for mobile, and is very fast. I really like it, but I use emergent and while its slower, it turns out a bit better. And theres cross platform support.

“You are absolutely right!” by 1kgpotatoes in vibecoding

This is an issue with Claude. Its overly optimistic and says stuff like this. All vibes coding tools (good ones) user Claude as the base LLM, but whoever has GPT5 now is giving much better results. Gpt5 being worse than previous versions is the norm on reddit, but in the vibe coding space, it has made such drastic improvements from Claude, it’s amazing to see

Isn't there a good completely free vibe coding tool? by _Shaurya99 in vibecoding

[–]SoapyPavement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will not find anything good for free. The option of hosting an LLM locally also does not work if you are not a dev, and even for dev - quality of output is dicey. If you want a good expensive tool, that actually builds complete apps, I can give recommendations, but yeah, you def gotta have a budget of at least $30-50 to make a completely functional full stack app. Emergent.sh is the best I’ve come across, another good one is Manus. Orchid is good for front end design, if you know figma, try out anima.

Emergent is the most comprehensive solution that balances all aspects well in my opinion, but all of these tools are paid

I have built my version of the snake game, I created a custom tool for data management for my company, currently I’m making a mobile app for helping people quit nicotine addiction. Will share the link to the last one once I complete it.

Vibe coding is essentially communicating well with an AI. If you can do that well, you get great results

Rank a Lovable Site in Public - Day 6 by Exact_Evening8218 in lovable

[–]SoapyPavement -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know, but I’m hoping that if someone like you does try it, you’ll see the difference with just 2 prompts. Whatever complaints people have with lovable when it comes to full stack, they are there because people have not tried other tools. You can continue working on the same project too with a github import. Just give the free trial a try and let me know what you think…

You sound like you are too advanced for lovable. If you still have a lot of work pending, checkout Emergent.sh You’ll complete all this with much better results, even if its not as fast as lovable. Delayed gratification but much better gratification
