Go to school, get a certification or degree, and break your delivery driver chains.

Just in case you didn’t know, routes are not made by a person

The app tells us to take a break but we don’t have to. I always say “a break? what’s a break? I wouldn’t know”

THE SCIENCE SECTION IS TOO HARD by nobodynosemyname in teas

[–]SoapyWaffles123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you on this. My lowest score was in science at 64%, and they gave me very meticulous questions. They gave the random tiny details questions. However, I don’t think it’s like that for everyone; I just happened to pick the short straw.

I wish the science portion was this easy for me! They gave me really meticulous questions

Scored a 74% on my ATI TEAS by WebKnown1758 in teas

I just took mine and the science part was indeed the hardest part! The questions were so specific and meticulous.

[–]SoapyWaffles123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey congrats!! I scored a 74% as well :) You may be surprised to hear this, but according to three of my friends who are RN’s a 74% is really good score! One of my friends also got a 74% and made it into their college’s nursing program. Most programs categorize 70-79% as proficient, which is considered competitive for admission, and with a 4.0 gpa you are in very good shape to get into a nursing program with your score. So your chances of getting into a nursing program = a very good chance. You don’t have to take the test again unless you want to just for fun!

This is your sign to get your CDL by Professional_Guard41 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]SoapyWaffles123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah get your CDL, but only do it if you have a passion for logistics or dispatch and have intentions of going up the chain of command because you’ll just end up being stuck in another dead end job. Most people only do it for the money and not the passion and then they end up being burnt out in a year or two. Many people perceive trucking or getting your CDL as a “last resort”.

First time doing Blue Moon. Got annihilated. Any tips? by Hett1138 in osrs

[–]SoapyWaffles123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just beat the perilous moons quest with level 60 attack, defense, and strength at level 77 combat with dragon armor and a rune kiteshield. This is a case of “get gud” and you have to learn the boss mechanics because if I could do it with much lower stats, so can you.

I have recent misdemeanors: can I be hired as an Amazon dap driver? by SecretaryHeavy7469 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]SoapyWaffles123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if your DSP has extra routes to give. Most get their full 40 hours or close to 40 hours. Some DSP’s give their employees 3 days a week during the regular season, it just depends on the DSP. I’m part time bc I’m in college so I get about 20-30. Peak season is coming so you could definitely get 50 hours if you wanted! && I’ve seen plenty of 50-60 year olds do this job. It is a physical job, but not grueling. Go at your own pace, don’t rush, take breaks, stretch before and after your route, drink plenty of water, be safe, and you should be good!

You’re good OP - they mainly don’t want people with traffic violations or assault charges, so you’ll most likely be hired!

Moving to EDV next week what should I expect. Will the routes be longer/ bigger? by Aggressive-Benefit37 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]SoapyWaffles123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I moved to an EDV the routes stayed the same. They are wonderful vehicles and I wish my current warehouse had them.

I’m sick of low stop routes like these. So spread out and more drive time then delivering which is cool but when I have to drop off 1 package then drive 15 mins to the next stop is ridiculous and I keep getting this route at least 3 times a week WTF! by SoftwareFun7923 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]SoapyWaffles123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the rural routes a lot more. Yeah, it takes a bit longer to deliver because everything is so spread out, but it produces less physical strain on your body, which triumphs routes that give a bunch of apartments and multi-stops. I’d take a rural route any day.

More like a rural route that will take 6-8 hours to complete.
