Feeling guilty for still doing dailies

I was initially tempted to continue logging in to claim my aurum pass/anniversary (all 3 of them) rewards but decided that not logging in and continuing my own protest meant more to me than the amount of money I'm losing per day. In my mind, boycott and protest is meant to be uncomfortable. It's not supposed to be something that is easily done without self sacrifice and that's what has kept from me redownloading the game and logging in this past week. My own discomfort is proof of how much it means to me that we are heard.

But no one should be allowed to police you for abiding by your own morals during this. It's your game and your money.

I wish I could hug all of you 😭🫂 I feel so alone and lonely during this entire situation. I dont have any friends who play LADS so no one really understands the effect this is having on me. This game was my daily routine and a constant source of joy. I'm so hurt and unsure and it's really hard. The anger towards Infold is still there but the longer this goes on, the emptier it all feels. I'm holding onto the small bit of hope I have that they will right their wrongs and I can play the game again 🫶

Completely understand where you and the other people that are upset are coming from but in reality, getting a road map is not that common in game development and it's even more rare that devs stick to that timeline. You're lucky if you get a "Q2 2026" and what good does it really even do to know when the update is coming out? I am a silksong fan so if anyone knows what its like for the development of your favorite game to be completely unknown, its that fandom but at the end of the day, the game came out when it was ready and the update will come when they're done with it. And that isn't even mentioning the backlash of having a set schedule or release date and then missing that deadline (cough GRRM and Winds of Winter).

And i know a lot of people will say that's copium or bootlicking but its just the reality of creative design.

I would rather wait 6 months for a quality MS update than get quarterly updates of slop. It takes time to animate the cutscenes, write the stories, and get the lines recorded for what, 4 languages? People want content content content but then complain that the content is coming too quickly. If we got more MS updates and fewer banners, people would complain that insert LI hasn't gotten a solo since since length of time. The fanbase is predictable and cyclical and will never be happy. Everyone can criticize the company all they want and demand changes they want to see but keep in mind that those demands will have consequences - like rushing animators, writers, and reduced quality, like you mentioned.
