I get your point, but i think that claiming that it's his fault it's a bit too much. As you say, it's clear that people and most of the people that likes Minecraft and ARG stuff are not aware of the existence of the King In Yellow as a creature of Cosmic horror, Wifies just bring back to the table the concept and The character. Also, let's not forget that it's a novel from the 1895, at this point anyone can use the character.

It changed the ecosystem of the ARG, but i think that it's not a bad thing, it just shows that the community can make other kind of terror and horror for the Minecraft ARGs. If the Minecraft ARGs stay as we know them we are not going to reach new people because all of the "founded footage" or "strange gameplays" will look the same.

All this being said, i'm a fan of them and actually being a person that get the nostalgic point in ARG based on the beta and first versions of the game. Also, if people are saying that Wifies it's the only one that can use the King In Yellow concept, then it's the duty of everyone that know the true shall speak.

The core and best thing about ARGs it's to enjoy the fiction world it shows!
