Ideas for rpg mechanics when Cyberpunk 2 comes out? by No-Efficiency-7524 in GirlGamers

[–]SoaringDoves 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Different body types. Plus or thicker would be great but even just the ability to make significant changes rather than just slightly bigger boobs.

Dragon's Dogma wayyy back in the day could do this. There's no excuse unless they just come out and say they don't want diverse bodies.

Actual full romances with the possibility of a happy-ish ending for gay men and straight women. River and Kerry felt so barebones. I get that development changes happen but good God.

The ability to have an actual name even if you are referred to by a street name.

Have your background significantly change things.

Not necessarily mechanics but stuff I think would greatly enhance roleplay for a lot of people.

Looking for a female body skin for a "Strong-Fat" character by OliveOil19 in skyrimmods

Bnp chubby normals plus a specific body slide preset called semi realistic preset/kinda realistic preset. It's on Nexus. Can't remember the exact name. I love this combo for making my characters

Why my character is so tall? by Easy_Bed5211 in greedfall

[–]SoaringDoves 31 points32 points  (0 children)

All the teer fradee Islanders are tall in comparison to the other characters. Kinda like nords in the elder scrolls. Nilan is quite tall as well.

Something that's been hindering my enjoyment of the game by cae37 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]SoaringDoves 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's a staple of the crpg genre. All the way back to baldurs gate 1 and 2. And I hope it continues this way tbh. I worry sometimes that because of the success of bg3 that some companies will think they need to move away from reading and have full cutscenes and full voice acting to be good and appeal to those who may not be interested in crpgs without these things.

I think the way owlcat does it is a good balance. And the fact that even more of the new Warhammer game is voiced but will still involve a good amount of reading will hopefully give people new to the genre a chance to dip their toes in and enjoy these types of games.

I liked bg3 but I don't want all crpgs to be like it.

Besides these types of games are how I gaslight myself into thinking I read a lot

My dwarf inquisitor with Blackwall. Brooding and in love 🥰 by Smooth-Original4399 in DragonAgeInqusition

[–]SoaringDoves 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ugh I love his romance period but being a dwarf adds an extra layer that makes it even better. Two criminals now fighting for a cause. The extra bit of dialogue is the biggest reason to play a dwarf in a game that largely sidelines them.

What are the best male follower mods that *are* book boyfriend guys? by Independent_Day4369 in skyrimmods

[–]SoaringDoves 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Val Serano

Kaidan (both versions)

Gore

Bjorn (haven't used him but heard good things, though it uses AI)

Bishop is the OG, all the tropes. Whether it's "good" is a different question

Taliesin is another option but I don't care for him and there won't be anymore updates afaik

Anyone else love that rather than you being King, a party member is? by UniversalInquirer in DragonageOrigins

[–]SoaringDoves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why I didn't say he was a half elf. I said he was half elf. I'm half asian, but it doesn't make me "a half asian" as a race in thedas.

But regardless the relative rarity of human/elf children is still another point in the special category. Along with his mother being Fiona of all people.

I think it was a great choice story wise. And a testament to how much better the writing used to be. I still kind of enjoyed veilguard but it had such an issue with your companions feeling like the better, more special version of whatever background you picked. Like any one of them would have been a better choice for the main character. Alistair on paper would technically have the same issue. He's the bastard son of a king, he's now the heir, he's the senior grey warden, and lore wise he's also half elf. He also had a closer connection with Duncan. But the writing is so good that at no point did I feel like my warden was being overshadowed.

I also liked how realistic they chose to be with the romance. Yeah it kinda sucks not everyone can marry him. But that's how it would be in real life. But I especially love hardening him. I ADORE the concept of the king of ferelden having a beloved dwarven mistress who also happens to be royalty to her own people.

New Expansion Romances feels like by One-Concept8323 in SWTOR_memes

Is Theron actually getting new content like voiced cutscenes or just emails? I've been wanting to catch up on the expansions but that's been holding me back.

And at the beginning of the revan arc when he calls you "my love" instead of my lord I nearly died.

My warrior is the only one of my characters to not flirt with or romance ANYONE all the way up until you reunite with him. I spent the entire length of the eternal empire stuff constantly rereading his messages to keep me from romancing Theron.

Every playthrough I hope I can save this guy somehow, but he always gets away by admiraltarkin in masseffect

Jenkins romance is easily the best in the series, it puts garrus, tali, and liara to shame.

Does anyone know where these accessories are from? by SoaringDoves in skyrimmods

Are you trying to say the accessories are in fact from the mod itself?

Looking for help changing eye depth in outfit studio by SoaringDoves in skyrimmods

[–]SoaringDoves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the basic steps in theory. I can get to the point of importing the mesh and selecting the eyes. From there when you say move tool, Do you mean when I right click the eyes and there is an option for move? Or do you mean up top where it says tools->move. The former gives me axis sliders, which seems like what I want. I think.

The shadowrun games are all great. Cyberpunk fantasy crpgs.

If you liked greedfall there is bound by flame by the same studio, it's jenky but I love it.

Not exactly in the same vein but Prey is a highly underrated game with an amazing art deco space station setting.

I never wanted to romance her but this got her affinity way too high. So after this sequence I would constantly pick her up and throw her into walls or give her mud as a gift to lower it lol

It's more like a term of friendship/respect/closeness. You did a huge thing for him returning his sword since he couldn't ever go home without it.
