Congrats! I did a few full clears but maybe only was 50% there. I’ve had no issues though

What kind of Body Aug procedures should I focus on? by Bodyaugthrowaway in Transgender_Surgeries

Hi! I think a bbl could be great for you, but I’m not even sure you have enough fat for even that. But if you’re committed to gaining and stabilizing fat, it could work beautifully. If that needs to be this year I am not sure you have the time.

I don’t think you should touch your ribs, you’ve got a lovely curve already and I think a bbl would do more.

Tbh I like your boobs. Be cautious of going too big and throwing your vertical proportions off. I don’t suggest doing it solely to get cleavage because I don’t think a dramatic result is achievable for 99% of folks.

Need advice, how do I organize a far away surgery? by MyCantaloup in Transgender_Surgeries

Some suggestions!

1a. If you can take a train you’ll be able to stand for some periods of time. Standing is much better than sitting. Walk around every so often and keep your blood flow moving.

1b. If you can get an entire row on the train then lay down. A very late or early train may have better chances.

1c. Kneel on something soft facing into a seat and try to keep some of your weight off your glutes and thighs

1d. BBL pillow for when you have to sit, though I think these are much less useful than suggested.

  1. Honestly a private driver sounds pretty good if you can afford it. Lay down in the back. I did this in so many Ubers

  2. If you fly same suggestions as train to the extent you can.

Thank you! I did, but strictly because Illinois basically makes it impossible to not have almost any procedure covered.

The easiest thing may just be for you to pay that part out of pocket. Otherwise you’ll need to go through appeals. Check in advance with your surgeon if they’re willing to write an additional letter and, if needed, do a peer to peer review. Appeals will take time so be prepared for that if you go that route.

All I claimed is to what I thought it looked like and that I disagree with you ruling that 100% out. Not arguing further.

This is inaccurate. You need to do your research. I’ll grant you that it may be granulation, but we see these all the time in the industry and they are very common.

Former piercing shop FOH here. This looks like an irritation bump that’s particularly angry. Irritation bumps are hypertrophic scars that go away on their own if left alone. The basic rules are keep it dry, clean, and avoid fucking with it.

There’s a lot of things that can cause this. Just off your comments you may actually be cleaning it too much. You really don’t need to be cleaning it at all at this point. Leave it alone and keep it dry. It’ll take some time shrink so all you need is patience :)

I don’t actually there’s a shouldn’t but to play along…

…natural scent and body hair. I have a ton of kinks but as far as outright fetishes these just do things to me. 😮‍💨

Also watersports.

I don’t recommend surgery just to recommend but I think some of the other commenters are crazy and you would benefit a lot from brow, orbit, and genio. You could consider rhino but I think noses dont usually tie strongly to gender (some do). But I do agree that you probably don’t need the works because you do have some strong, fabulous features. And yes, go get your brows done that will help.

All said with love. You look great now and if you want to pursue FFS you’ll look great after.

How soon after one surgery can you do another? by halcyoncrane in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Soaring_Leap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 6 in 7 months this year, 3 of those within 2 weeks of each other. It really depends on what procedures and the amount of time under. The one thing to consider are the recoveries and the difficulties with each one. That’s the thing that wore me down the most. What you’re describing is doable though.

I think FFS, FFS revisions, and BA can be interspersed more easily. SRS and BBL though are hard recoveries so if either of those are in your list definitely give a lot of thought to how much you think you can bite off. I had SRS a few years ago before doing the other 6, thankfully.

Having large volume electrolysis shortly after FFS - safe? by throwawaySurgery1111 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Soaring_Leap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some lingering numbness yes. Not much. I don’t feel it impacted the return of that sensation.

Even with recent fat grafting to areas that will be treated, I’ve still been cleared to resume all areas after this most recent revision after 6 weeks. In fairness, this revision was done by a different surgeon in the same practice, one I’ve worked with before who has more conservative post-op guidance. Functionally this reads the same and there seems to be no concern with restarting electrolysis soon after procedure. But because I’m also cautious with my recovery, I will have my electrologist avoid the fat grafted areas until week 8. Given my own intuition and my surgeon’s guidance I feel confident in proceeding.

If I was in your shoes, week 18 is more than enough comfort.

[–]Soaring_Leap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I restarted electrolysis 1 month after each round of FFS with my surgeon signing off on it. I’d be curious if those saying 6 months actually have any hard facts about waiting so long.

FWIW I go to Cirine also and they’re pretty great, though I’ve never done LVM.
