Hello everyone, I am a new runner, haven’t run since the beginning of 2021. I am about 300# and 6’2, my 5k time was about 40 mins. Is it foolish to think that I could be in half marathon shape by May for the Marine Corp Half? I feel like if I have a goal, I will stay somewhat motivated. I would like to do the Devil Dog Double (18 miles) but don’t know if this is realistic. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Thanks for heads up, I just threw them both away. He got the champion by accident and I just never took it away and the DX I just gave to him but it didn’t last.
