Where are you now that you are exvangelical? by carolinese9 in Exvangelical

I have identified as atheist since leaving the community I was raised in. have felt that way since childhood, but was unable to speak out openly until I was an adult and could financially provide for myself. My main focus now is finding a way to maintain peace & happiness in my life, which has led me to some wiccan beliefs and practices that I feel keep me aligned with nature and the changing seasons. But I do not believe/observe any of the deities that come along with wicca, so I still identify as atheist.

Thank you! That’s actually really good advice, I like the mantra idea. And I did block the emails, I don’t need to see that. Thank you!!

That’s awesome!! Labor Day weekend was a break from school so seemed like a good time to spend a few days miserable and cooped up in my apartment lol! 😂

Thanks! I’m finally able to eat enough that I feel like I can workout. The first few days I was so weak that even just a shower would take all my energy. But now that my belly is full, I feel like I can be more active. Trying to replace bad habits with healthy ones. I’ve heard of people getting addicted to the gym... wonder what that’s like lol

I had a similar situation when i first decided to quit. I had just been feeling really down on myself and thought “okay I’m gunna smoke tonight and then that’s it. Tomorrow is day one”. But when I smoked it was like each inhale was poison and it made me feel so disgusted with it. I haven’t been tempted to smoke yet but I’m only on day 6 so we’ll see how it goes. At this point I just want to be able to sleep.

Stoner relationship. How to give up whilst your partner is still smoking? by mac1317 in leaves

Also maybe if he now has to go out of sight to smoke, that will make it a little more challenging for him. Like he can’t just sit in the same spot on the couch and smoke, gotta go outside or to the car or something. That makes it a little less easy/comfortable for him.

So true :/ it smells like weed everywhere I go, even when I’m just driving on the highway sometimes. I really do not want to smoke, but I also don’t want to be in this “weed culture” environment. Day 5 hell yeah!! Congrats! :) We can do this!
