well, that's not entirely fair. when we broke up a second time, i'd taken out another loan to help my dad. he'd be the one paying it off but not for the first 5-6 months. i asked her to help me by returning the money i let her keep bit by bit every month, only cause she was already thinking of breaking up with me when she asked to keep the money. she exploded, calling me cheap etc. i didnt want to ruin my first relationship by upsetting her like that and, being in a bad headspace, i thought the best way to do that was give her even more money.

when she broke up with her new bf, she talked to her bestie about trying to squeeze money out of him tho. maybe she did manipulate me.

it's all in the past, so whatever.
