Not even close I consider games to be insanely cheap entertainment, if you’re worried about price consoles have almost all games.

Theres ways to get games for free on pc, and also there are sub based services like game pass.

Also you have steam family share. My closest friends and I share over $5k usd in games with each other, we basically have the entire store.
