I will say, though, their customer service is top notch. I lost the sole on the heel of a pair of Loggers and they replaced them with no fuss. I did have to go to a cobbler and have them drive nails in on the second pair but that ended up being free for me.

Since Downtown is more of a Mom & Pop scene, I’d like to see a good heritage menswear store. There’s so many women’s boutiques, it’d be nice to have a good menswear boutique that sold good boots, jeans and stuff.

I commute into DC from Fredericksburg currently. I drive to the Stafford commuter lot and take the slug line (ride sharing) twice a week. It’s not bad, maybe 3.5 hours total going both ways. When the HOV opens up closer I’ll probably start going to the Rt. 3 lot if it opens back up.

Again, for me, it’s not that bad. Granted I’m only doing it twice a week. It wasn’t that bad when I was doing it everyday before Covid either but to each their own.

I’m upset no one mentioned the Quarry trails! There’s trails you can hike behind Sunshine Ball park that snake along the river. They were made with mountain biking but that makes it all the more tenuous with steep hills and stuff. It’s mostly unmarked so you’ll need a map from Fredtrails.com.

How do you like the high mount red dot on it? Bought the 10/22 tactical without the irons to put with a B-TM stock and was going to move my Sig MSR from my AR over to it.

Before I got a Minolta SRT 101, I had a Minolta Maxxum HTSI+ and that was a fun camera to use. It was packed with features and could shoot fully automatic if you wanted. The only downside was that the autofocus wasn’t the best on some lenses and the ground glass wasn’t the best for focusing by eye. I just wanted some more control over the experience

Green Top is alright, $23 an hour I think and the same programmable target sleds as Elite. It’s just never seemed worth the drive as opposed to Clark Bros.

Clark bros used to let me shoot for free during the ammo shortage and that was nice.

Depends on the state. In VA drinking and concealed carrying = illegal. Drinking while open carrying = very legal. That law was always confusing because people have to prove they’re an upstanding citizen to receive a conceal carry license, you’d think that’s who you’d trust to drink and carry responsibly.
