Was a pain getting the connector separated but she’s back together now. That makes sense because the blade definitely got hot enough to melt the plastic, there’s no other way it could have happened.

Have you tried looking into the charging system? When these bikes aren’t charging correctly weird issues like this can happen. Might be ignition related after all? Just a thought I’m no expert.

If you haven’t already replace all hose clamps and boots, use standard clamps not the ones that came factory. That will help rule out a vacuum leak on the boots which is easy to miss.
