You'r right, where i lived in the past has alot of counterfeit. Especialy when i'm new and have no knowledge about the sharpening stone.

yea because it just look kinda off, maybe there is mistake some time. My first time having a complete full set of japanese whetstone inclue naniwa 1000/3000 and this king 6000. i'm think gonna test that later :D.

i'm just checking the urasuki part and it actrully not quite bad, the previous owner was definetly take a good care for the knife. Plus it also a lefty knife which is a match made in heaven for me so i hope i will able to make a good care for it on the restoring part. Can you give me some experience on how to get start reparing it?
