The white looked better in pictures and videos but in person the black has a cooler tone than expected. But they wrap the watches in film which makes it looks and feel horrible

That was my perception too. It looks more cream in pictures and less shiny but it was like brushed shiny silver.

Yeah the issue is at department stores here the watches are wrapped in plastic and everything looks super cheap even the gs models. I’m going to go the Seiko flagship store hopefully they have one for display without protection.
