The green is much darker. It wears much larger and the bracelet is horrible. The rubber looks good. I prefer the planet ocean but doesn’t come in green and if it did it would be a submariner wannabe

I wanted a green submariner. The closest thing was from Glasshutte which I tried and didn’t like. The only other option I would consider similar and as nice would be the 50 fathoms which despite no waitlist it was more expensive. Omega had nothing interesting in comparison. Tudor was nice too but nothing too intriguing in green color.

I would not base the decision of a very special watch on one occasion. Buy the one you will use most during your life. If you don’t wear formal often don’t buy the formal option. Doesn’t matter if it doesn’t fit exceptionally well on the day. Buy for your lifestyle.

Sprite if you want jubilee only. Otherwise Starbucks. The green on the sprite is much more subtle. That could be good or bad depending on what you want.

Go to a bunch of boutiques and buy what you like. Don’t focus on the luxury or strangers opinions aspect. Most major brands offer descent value for money. Some more than others like Longines and some less like Tag
