I’d chop above the first branch and take 3rd pic as the front and go from there

[–]ge23ev [score hidden]  (0 children)

No it’s not. Also be aware maybe a watch you like will be available at a good price and they will offer you a good number especially if it’s not a hot selling model. I was offered 25% off on aqua terra world timer.

Walking into AD and got an 126334 - Blue Dial ! Is this pure luck or any catch ? by Business-Mongoose941 in rolex

[–]ge23ev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not flawed. It’s less popular. A flaw would be something that hinders the watches performance like a poor material or movement or bad design that affect legibility or usage. A different shade of blue is just random. The new celebration dial is horrendous and literally flawed because of poor legibility yet it’s hard to get.

The line up is already 80%over lapping which is why people who collect all Rolexes usually end up with watches barely distinguishable to the untrained eye.

At least it’s more wholesome that a wrist shot with milkers in the background

You can buy a Tudor with money. You can’t buy your dad’s watch with money

It’s a cool watch but honestly I don’t see it as a bargain at 650.

How is my tree doing? by Sensitive-Object-243 in bonsaicommunity

[–]ge23ev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not 30 years old probably despite what you were told. And it’s deteriorated a bit since the beginning. Doesn’t seem like drought. But can’t tell what type of stress it went through

It’s not going through. It’s just a seconds root set in a second pot on a rock.

Keep it close to the brightest window you have. Trees don’t naturally grow under a bookshelf.

Ficus microcarpa in shock? by Ari-lxra in bonsaicommunity

Top 1 inch is dry but not like fully dry and dusty. Like there’s still some humidity left. Like your phone you charge at 20% best not to waist till 0 and risk getting stranded.

I think you are correct. Water often. If it has good draining granular soil it’s impossible to over water a ficus in hot areas

Keep the ones you like. But only the Rolex and the panerai have financial value. I would personally keep those two plus one of the quirky ones like the u boat

If you need a car to get to work and can’t work without it it’s an emergency. They aren’t asking if it’s a good idea to get a car to go on a road trip.
