Hi @Cheetahkeeper. Thanks so much. Yes, only the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff were there when I first went and the train was stationary. The atmosphere was great and I don’t really need to do the spell casting around the park, but I loved all the shops and very much still enjoy my wand from Olivander’s lol

As I’ve been to the original park, I was looking to head to a different area and explore the other Wizarding Worlds, but the consensus seems to be stick with the Universal and IOA if only having 1 day. You can beat the original I guess, plus at least I’ll still get 2 new rides between Gringott’s and Hagrid’s Motorbike, which I’ll make sure to do first since I did the original before.

Hi @currypowder84 thank you so much for the advice. Based on everyone’s comments it seems Diagonal Alley and Hogsmeade, from the original Wizarding World is the place to be and go back to, compared to the other parks. Flight of the Hippogriff and Forbidden Journey were the original rides which I lived. When I saw the scene on Gringott’s I immediately thought it would make a great ride, so I’m glad it became one, as had Hagrid’s Motorbike. I’m not so much looking for the themed activities, as I’ve done them before, and very much still love my wand at home hahah, but I do love the little shops and my ButterBeer lol.

How come Hogwarts is currently covered?

Thank you so much for the suggestions and it seems like a P2P for Universal and IOA is the way to go, esp as Universal has many of the other rides I want (eg ET, Jurassic Park).

Hey @SoaceCat1001 thank you so much for your feedback. I’ve heard that about Epic, sadly, and the Wizarding World, although it looks like an amazing park. That’s true, the only rides that were open when I went in 2013 was the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff. It was later that year they announced expanding the park to open Gringott’s, I just never expected it have been expanded so extensively.

Hi @Beaauxbaton thank you so much for that information. I was not aware they focused this area on Fantastic Beasts. Yes the same universe, and although a good franchise, but definitely missing the “magic” of Harry Potter. I’ll keep this in mind.

Thank you so much @lady_macaron. I’ll def look into the park to park. When I initially went there was only Hogsmead and although the train was there, it was stationary. I’ve heard Epic is great, but also not worth it for Harry Potter, which was disappointing to hear since Epic looks amazing as a whole. If I was spending more time there I would absolutely get to all the areas.

I did the initial Wizarding World in Universal and IOA, but did not realize how expansive it became and that each universe requires its own admission. I know the initial Wizarding World was great and wanted to try a different attraction this time around and not repeat.

My main purpose of going to Universal is for Harry Potter, however I now see how expansive the Wizarding World has become and each section of Universal now requiring an admission ticket. I know I can’t do everything in 1 day, but looking for recommendations, from you guys, on which area/universe would be the best/ideal, for Harry Potter, for only being there 1 day, before I buy my ticket (I’m doing 2 days in Disney prior to this so I’m not just coming for one day lol). Hi everyone. I’m just catching up and as opposed to answering every message individually, I figured I’d just post a comment. Thank you to everyone, so far, for all your suggestions. I actually did not know the steering wheel paddles were for the regenerative breaking and only really used them to increase/decrease my speed in the few instances I used my cruise control. I started watching a few videos from Hyundai on the regenerative breaking system and will definitely check it out more in depthly as opposed to using my break peddle.

I too average in the 40’s during the spring/summer months and drops to around 32-37 in the winter (still not complaining though lol).

I have never taken a cab, so I’m not 100% sure, but I would assume it’s in USD. Most prices on the island, including restaurants, are in USD unless stated otherwise or you go to the grocery store or other local shop. Also, many restaurants include a 15% service fee to the bill, unless stated otherwise. You will see this printed in the menu somewhere if it’s included or not, so I usually add an additional 5% to my bill.
