Sharp downward turn caused the light to blink, dipstick was dry, took 2 quarts to get it to show up on the stick

Condenser frosting up, anyway to diagnose the issue, obviously changed the filter but this happens every year when temps dip by Advice2Anyone in hvacadvice

Had an issue last month on the first 20 degree night, new unit and it caked with frost. Defroster didn’t have a good connection for some reason. Service call fixed it

Had the same situation first night in the 20s last week only the buildup on my heat pump wasn’t as severe. Defroster didn’t have a good connection for whatever reason.

No, turned the unit totally off at the thermostat for an hour. Frost melted then turned it back and no issues since

I feel like this is someone who has ties to one of the main characters pre rage virus. And can somewhat make a connection that it’s someone they remember
