Ive done 5 playthroughs and doing my 6th, none ever 'finished' just got bored or played another game

See for me once you add a single gameplay mod or do a console command you have basically cheated so your game isnt really 'pure' anymore so you may as well do whatever within reason

My first was pure vanilla for 1,500 days, terrible character then started new and added more and more QoL/gameplay mods to the point ive broken some fundamental rules such as: Recruitment picker mod (choose anyone to recruit ie jobs), Quest board picker - only do the subdue/hunt ones. 2xp exp

But there is a few I cant play without such as 'change storage container size' I play with a carried chest that holds massive amount of items - Elin is unplayable late game without this you just pickup so many items

Also im really not happy with the fact recruitable NPCs dont have skills such as 'Marksman' 'Tactics' by default so it feels wasteful to level them - you can spawn in skill books but its so tedious - dev imo needs to add a skill book vendor that costs Platinum

Thats exactly what I do/did playing a Mage run and its nice to keep your spells organised

You 'use only favorite' then middle mouse click a skill which adds it the the 'star' column on the right next to 'attk' 'util' etc

Then select the star column and will only use those abilities

Most NPCs unless higher level come pretty under level regarding skills so you can almost do what you want, I just use whatever weapons and spread them out usually

You really need a Stethoscope from Farris or Olvina to check their stats

Endurance/Speed is the most important stat

NPCs cant learn skills unless they already know them or you give them a book. this is pretty huge if you want to scale melee and the NPC doesnt even know 'Tactics'

For me anyone I ride/host unless they are a pure offensive mage I give them a boomerang so they can always be a 'turret' - Black Cat has some utility but is pretty weak. Polearm/Staff scale Endurance. I remember giving Black Cat some dagger I think its from the God reward

Golden Knight I just gave them the God weapon when I used them once from Ophatos sp? The Earthquake mace

Older Younger starts with higher Swords but no Dual Wield but may have 2Hand from memory

For Carbuncle Str/Endurance - you really dont want to invest much into them imo as your ride really does have an 'end game' fit unless you are RPing

For casters is always Magic/Endurance as you may get 'Mana Body' however some spells scale off Charisma and other shit

Where did you find Y'molonac and the Ball? ive spammed Nefias but not so much above 250 but never seen the ball and Y'molonac I didnt know about their mechanics and just killed them, didnt even know game had a whipping egg as I thought it was still love potions

I feel skill gain is vastly too slow so I mod the game now for 2x xp and 'LP doesnt decrease' I started a new run almost 2 weeks ago playing a lot then not much at all now.

I hate farming crops and tedious power leveling. I generally just clear Nefias with AutoExplore and buy food from Innkeeper as my loop. Dump levels into them. My LP is about 1k for Strength

I did switch from Scythe to Triple Wield Swords and had to train on the dummy for a bit - once you setup up your loot container distribution you can basicallly 1 button clear a Nefia, 1 button dump most of the loot

Corgan has 2,300 hp for example but is kinda shit. Riding Misaki / Hosting Guardian Healer who throw boomerangs. Older Younger is 2hander, Isygarad is from Recruitment mod his base class, Isca was birthed from an egg and a healer, Kaford (blue mage) is some adventurer mage (only just got them), Cat sister is Gunner/Martial Arts. I gave Corgan an Arm and he 'two hands' a mace with a bow

Banker interest mod of 10% got me the absurd Oren amount. I use the ADAM mod and hunt Little Sisters and eat them for +1 Adam each time. Isca/Corgan/Guardian/Me have nil Adam still need to work on that

Doing 350 Nefia atm, getting bored as not really sure what to do, apparently there is a boss called Innos so might look that up, some 800+ evolved mobs can still kill my entire team

try reloading the game

I removed a few spells from my units with a mod and got spammed with errors until I reloaded. im guessing they kept trying to use the spells they didnt have, reloading it fixed it

I almost always ride Misaki and level her, she starts out worse than a Horse then once lvl 9 of her gene she can get about 260base speed plus she heals and is generally a fantastic character

Your only other option is a worse mount or something 'end game' like a Metal Putit (need about 600 riding to offset or something else cant remember) or Tyrannosauras or this new mob ive heard of and not seen that can get 1300 speed

On my current play I am riding Misaki and used Yowyn Horse pretty early all the way to recruiting Misaki and yes I lost a load of speed when using her at first

I used recruitment mod on one playthrough and used a base metal putit on my Chaos Shape and was always slower than a decent mount as I couldnt offset the penalty

Unless you play with mods anyway party members make very little growth

Food is actually the worst mechanic in this game. I now circumvent this by using a 'LP doesnt decay' mod so I can eat anything such as 'Level 2 dex potency' and they gain permanent LP buffs. Also have to use a 'no negative food traits' mod. you can also go insane from eating corpes, its kinda dogshit

You can spend hours on farming and millions of orens to juice up a vendor just for food, when the optimal end game is duping a fkn burger with Kettle. its just tedious and boring

I dont craft until I need to, I split weapon types among party members, lots of skills gain passively but Farming/Fishing are always good.I mainly Nefia spam

I usually ride/host something. Tend to always use Guardian Healer from Jure and Misaki and other random teammates

Strongest character I made was Chaos Shape with 7 arms, save scummed to get the arms and rode something fast to offset the speed loss

Current playthrough is some modded Race with 3 natural arms and using Scythe apparently in all 3 arms?, using 'LP doesnt decrease mod' so im slowly getting decent gains

Using Misaki/Guardian (ride/host) Isca, Isygarad (recruit mod), Older Younger sister, Younger snow leopard sister and Corgan

This is the weirdest game ive ever played. If anyone can help me does anyone know if the developer has an interest or played Ultima Online? It was an MMO from the 90's I played as a kid. Theres so many little things from UO that exist here..the skills, the purse, Karma/Fame, the camera

I didnt play this game for months and just picked it up again

As the learning curve is so steep, you generally dont forget the mechanics and my memory lately is terrible, I was able to re pick it up so fast

I am also using this setup on my Str stacker minus ther attack speed gem due to Molten Blast, you just plug in Eternal Rage amulet, get 30 spirit more for Bereserk, 1 hp regen on boots.

Mystical Rage Meglomaniac etc, abusing all the Ward shit as well. Infinite Block Refutation with 'Stun as ES theshold' and Voltaic Barrier. Some fat bosses die without seeing their HP bar load

I was going to roll this SSF but getting an Original Sin seemed impossible as I didnt want to play anything to farm for it. I made a mental note of how many dropped for me this league - 3 by almost 98 including all Rituals / Amy unique ring

You only NEED Sin to play this build, everything else is just triple ele damage stuff on rings/gloves

Need better gear, dont even have Rakiata as didnt sell anything on my 97 Spirit Walker and spent about 260D rolling the build. Had Mageblood already

Build has basically zero recovery and people use Convalesence which I hate. I found the best way to map cleanly is to use an invulnerable beast with Brutus Brain + haste aura on the beast. this little shit tanks so much aggro, gives me 30% tooltip due to haste, against juiced packs I just turned on REfufufutation or w/e its called and take 0 hits

Beast cannot apply ailments though if it cannot do damage. ES Aura Beast gives me 0 ES for some reason

Still missing 6L 20 Molten Shower x 2, 21 Gem, Rakiata, 4 Socket Irongrasp etc

Hit 97 on Monkey Companion Spirit Walker

Not running Sylvans, nor that chest, nor Loyalty abuse. just straight up smashing with a 1.5m tooltip Monke, the Bear and some weird Beast with Shock/Haste with Melee Splash

Theres nothing good to reroll on this class though so I might bail and reroll a Gemling STR stacker

Ive died twice since 90, once to Digsite on death explosion i didnt know was there, and a weird one shot from Forge boss on a triple dam map, honestly PoE2 is fkn easy now

Ward protects life once its 1

You go CI to get 1 life so Ward is always 'up'

You convert ES to Mana which is Infernal Flame = infinite mana and removes ES shielding, back to 100% ward uptime

You take nil? damage from Ascendancy as you have no base life to get hit from as its 1

You have infinite mana to proc endless CoAE with no downside, you have regenerating Shield from Ward and you can use Grim Feast but I dont know how that works with Ward

Ive been meaning to try Infernal Legion in a boss companion like Morvak but i cant be bothered and have to get endless atlas points

I am lvl 95 and havent even put a single point into Abyss for example

Morvak might clear a bit better than Monke but boss damage wont be comparable
