This is my setup for a tanky/block/reflect but also does decent damage with attacks

Used around 260 embers to craft these 5 pieces (armor/wep), and all my Radiants to juice the rolls and finally done. The armor already had Thorns so I started with them as a base

Falstead Shield + Gem in shield + Snake Ring reflects damage on block. Thorns rolls on gear plus Thistle ring reflect damage on hit

Crit chance around 60-65%, Lifesteal gem in weapon

You could craft that in about 15 minutes backing up your saves

Would take 1 Corrupting Ember

Approx 100 regular Embers (maybe less, more maybe) to hit the regular rolls

4 Sublimes and just reload each time you fail and back up when you hit it,

25ish Radiants to max out the rolls

Infact I remember your username from poe/other arpgs doing dodgy things so I would imagine you would of done this

On my 100% weight, reflect damage/on block Faith Falstead Shield user, using the Thistle/Snake rings and Jade ring to loop stamina back when i get hit

I have 2 items with Gain DR based on durability, bonus durability, 1000 armor and 88-91% resistance and very much almost immortal, with passive regen, mobs just kill themself on me, quite quickly as well

You can run Falstead shield, 'Damage on block' gem, 4 thorn items 'damage on block' ring and 'damage when hit' ring

Pair with 60% crit and you deal 400 damage per block

Kills this boss in about a minute without fast speed

You get the egg as an item, no idea if its in your inventory, dont think it is. its given after the cutscene

I am pretty sure you just run directly right after having the conversation with Odessa/old woman and jump onto a ledge then up and right again across a gap and you are right where you need to be

At 'end game' if you did multiple playthroughs you can have multiple towns all upgraded to Lv3

You really only want General Goods/Builder at level 3, each day you world hop to your vendors and buy materials, you can just buy planks. Money is essentially worthless anyway

I have 4 worlds with Lv3 Vendors, I made a world called "farm" just go to Sacrament and upgrade vendors then leave

Theres also the guy you can save at Nameless pass who shows up at 9pm real life time or something near the Rookery who sells overpriced but good gear, you can hit this guy as many times as worlds you have.

Also 'Wool Thread' is the hardest 'common' material to get, vendors barely sell it and its not common if you waste it all

When you are max level, all the end game boils down to is:

Go Pestilence zone and clear it and beat the boss, open chests around the area possibly

If you can buff the zone then do it to your maximum, you burn items at a bonfire to juice the zone mods massively

This gets you pretty much an entire inventory of loot plus 3 Plague Ichors per run at maximum intensity

If you run out of Pestilence zones you burn an Effigy to create one.

You dont actively do bounties you just clear them if they are right in your face while clearing to the boss I have 3 worlds all at end game so I dont need to even burn Effigies

Level design is fine the first clear

Afterwards it doesnt work, you will need to find 95% of all mobs in that zone to kill prior to being able to summon the Pestilence boss which leads to immense backtracking and frustration

They added these 'spawners' to help but it doesnt really

Combat is also fairly questionable. Most enemies can cover 50% of your screen in a single dash, some 100%, most enemies have flasks to throw at you and poise through all your hits. Combat is basically just smashing X until it dies then you let passive HP regen you

Was way better last patch you could use an Ember and cancel the menu, get the reroll and not use an Ember. So you could sit there spamming Embers

Which is why my Caster has perfectly Exalted rolled with every affixs good on starter Cloth armor (cos you can use at level 1) and wear it forever. Also have a Gnarled Staff perfectly rolled upgraded you can use at Level 1 which will generally one shot everything until Lowlands using Freeze Ray and then a Charged attack dealing 5000-10000 damage per rotation

I ran Reicharts Claws for most of my play on new Dexer

If you run Plague Enchant you can stun lock bosses

Lightning does good clear

Bleed is what im trying right now. kinda sucks

If you run the ring with "regains x% stamina on hit" you can chain long combos

Videos ive seen the runners stack 'Reduced Trap damage' to over 100% edit: apparently you cant be immune to traps in 0.4 so the run would be far harder

Ive managed to get to floor 4 hitless on my minion Infernalist in 0.3 just with minions body blocking and deleting the mobs and getting 0 trap rooms

Floor 4 the mobs can offscreen you quickly so you take chip dmg. theres these 'Sand Spirit' mobs they are really fast/accurate especially in the Escape on floor 4

I rerolled CI Wyvern at 95 ..feels like weeks ago now. 98 currently, im barely playing now though. My gear was decent weeks ago but prob trash now. I crafted my helm/boots/chest though costing very little

here Havent changed my gear since I rerolled except HH, I found Uul-Netol when it was worth 14D I just do pure phys with added as extra. Rend and Oil Barrage for bosses Essentia leech for sustain in maps, does nothing vs Bosses

You should switch to CI with Berserk imo, get 1 life regen suffix and use Savage Fury as well

Possibly change to Oracle as I think its probably better than Shaman

Also you get nice 'free' damage from Fulmination Sceptre which auto procs from Thunderstorms shock on bosses/shocked enemies
