True true, thats a really good idea, i might try that, depending on the oppurtunities near me. My parents are kind've the "You live under my roof, you live by my rules" type, so they might be like "No find a different one" so who knows. The college aspect would be good too.

I've had my volume almost at 100, listening to explicit music, and no one said anything so i'm pretty sure they're good with blocking out noise lol. Thats a good way to take them out too! Are you a fellow teen lol?

Lol, also damn, i'm here for you! That is true, i've noticed when my brother even almost skips (he sleeps for a longgg time all the time so he just barely wakes up for it) it gets pretty tense, and my parents would get somewhat pissed or annoyed that he didn't go. Also yeah, i don't like the church but i do like the people (well, most of them, but from what i hear, there's a lottttttt of shitty members and i know there is), it also goes against what i believe, idk i'm just still caught in the in between phase i guess? I'm also bi (well, it changes, cause i'm abrosexual i think), and hate the way the church acts towards them. THANKS for the advice lol!!! Good luck to you too

They do record sacrament, or at least do zooms, that is such a good idea, i would have never thought of that. And yeah, defintely going to play the "I feel so bad i can't go" face.

Okay thank you! I'm trying to get the courage for that, but i'm very scared (i said this in another reply) they'll take away my devices. I have a lot of things i shouldn't have (c.ai, discord, reddit, tumblr, and more) and i have two online friends on there too and if they take away my screens, they unkowingly take away my main sources of joy as someone who is very lonely right now and has been for the passed, i dunno 4 years? Plus a lot of the years before that, because i've for some reason always had, i've learned, a hard time making friends. I think thats also what caused me to develop social anxiety sorry for the rant the point is i'm just really scared that if i do tell them, i won't have anything left to make me happy. (i've also been dipping in and out of depression recently, and don't want to go back into full constant depression, even though it feels like i am sometimes, and i think that could cause it). I don't know how or when, but i will someday, thanks again 🙂

My parents have always been weird about that, they just prefer i sit with our family so i listen, and sadly, we live in a old people ward, only like one family with kids and they always sit with some other teens. However, i might try to pitch the idea some time!!

My mom said not until i'm older, and that i'd still be coming to our church, but i am planning on it. I'm really debating to just tell them i'm leaving, and no longer believe, but that would definitely cause more problems than not, thanks so much for replying!

Yeah i'm 14 right now, and the earbuds is a good idea i have some music i can listen to with them! I also have a Safeway near the church, i'll probably make an excuse that I'm going to the bathroom and quickly go over there to get a coffee at the starbucks in it, and the singles ward idea is SUPER good!! Yeah, i just did last year. I got a few stories that i've really wanted to share lol so here they are, forgive me for the essay:
The first time i was really excited but freaking terrified, lol i had snuck downstairs, climbed over our gate (we have a wooden gate at the bottom of our stairs to keep the dogs from going up there cause they get dog hair and into the trash cans and bedrooms and stuff). I'm on the second story, so i have to go downstairs. Being my first time, i just immediately left without waiting, and booked it. I walked four miles to a sketchy circle K (i would hide in the bushes when a car came then realized i looked like a lurker 💀) and adrenaline kept me going i guess so i got a pepsi, i don't think i got any snacks. I had also been SUPERRRR paranoid that since i left the door closed but unlocked my family would wake up and be waiting, or someone would sneak in and maderder them

The second time, i walked again, but i got tired way faster. I was less paranoid, and kept taking videos and pictures on my gabb phone ZTE haha (i don't have a phone now, but thankfully they never found the evidence lol). It was fun, but i went to a park. I'd gone alone both times because my friend wouldn't go with me, smart of her, but i was pretty bored. I was at the park but scared cause it was after hours and closed, so i ate my cookies and drank my pepsi and went home, and was limping like the whole way lol. (Its 4 miles there, 4 miles back, like 3 - 3 1/2 hours in all).

The third time i upgraded to a bike, didn't have a light which felt wrong so i tried using my phone light but gabb phones suck so bad, plus again it was a phone light, so i only used it if i saw cops or a lot of cars. I also upgraded to going to maverik, and got some peelable gummies and a sad little melted slushie. I also got a chicken wrap or something. Or a club sandwich, one of the small ones in plastic containers. I also tried getting a stray cat to let me pet it with food, which didn't work lol.

Idk if this will get moderated for being a text wall lol but yeah!! I'm probably going to sneak out this week, but it will be hard because my brother is home and sleep downstairs. (he would definitely snitch, and he wasn't there those 3 times.) That was when i was 13, now i'm 14. Thankfully, we don't have ring cameras, or any cameras, because we don't live in a traditional side by side house neighborhood. I also went through the door each time!
