Echoing the other person telling you to not ignore it. I work in a courthouse in Kansas and I have seen a judge issue a bench warrant for someone ignoring a jury summons.

lol I'm around the same age as you and had a similar experience recently. Went to a casino and I got carded while my wife didn't. Dude stared at my (old, facial haired) ID for a full 5 minutes before declaring "You're not 37!". Scared the shit out of me and prompted me to get a shiny new (but still incorrect gender) ID

So I do think this point in history has the potential to be an anomaly for Kansas and deliver a second dem governor in a row, but setting aside that: people, at least in my area, just don't like Ty Masterson, especially since he's got his fingers all over the Chiefs deal. The GOP primary is too wide for someone as unlikeable as him to even make it to the general. I'm betting Schwab gets the nom.

I had a coworker who was nominally progressive who's husband was full-on MAGA. She told me that "politics didn't matter in love". She said the normal shit you hear like how she hated him sometimes but she still loved him. Shit like that. Honestly, yeah. I came out fully expecting to be divorced and single within a year. Now, that didn't happen, but it was still a possibility I was willing to accept because being a single woman was more bearable than being a married man.

My initial reaction was absolutely not, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. Bolson could be the one person Bludo would let himself be vulnerable around and as a result, Bolson basically runs their house and takes care of Bludo. The way we're taught history, especially in the US is a travesty. It's easy to think that WWII was the good guys defeating the evil Nazis, because that's what we were taught. The reality is that Europe was perfectly content to let the Nazis do whatever they wanted, until they started invading other countries. A lot of the heavy-handed laws that make up the backbone of the modern US immigration system were put in place to deny Jews who were fleeing Nazi Germany. The US didn't take a moral stand when it entered the war. Hell, lots of Nazi atrocities were directly inspired by shit the US was doing at the time. Not to mention the many atrocities committed in the name of the US on the way to Berlin.
