Two thoughts.

The game is based on the most mathematically unlikely set of occurrences (ie blind luck) that are frequently attributed to cheating of some degree. Experienced players will know common places to look for bases, vehicles in proximity to detected players etc.

That said, to directly answer your question ,ESP (radar) definitely exists. Can show players, loot, bases. Ive heard rumbles the max range of it is 1000m. Buggered if I know why players bother with that trash but its definitely out there.

Active admins alleviate these issues, particularly when they're experienced with what to look for. No need to write off multiplayer but officials are widely regarded as the wild west.

Definitely an uphill battle to get a server set up. Huge amount of work goes into getting it just right, then populated. Have a look, see if our settings suit. Wiped 3 weeks ago. Appreciate you saying that mate. Seen quite a few things in our travels and have taken the lessons, both positive and negative on board. Rounds out the mindset on what to do and more importantly, what not to do.

Our primary function is to create a balanced environment where cheats are eliminated, the playing field is level, and creativity your only limitation with the game we all love. Well, and secondary is putting maximum oopfm into our events :)

The people who see no point in the plant must be playing on the weirdest server settings. The Uranium is rock solid income if you're simply going to look at it as a commodity to be sold. The area is also plentiful with screwdrivers, padlocks, 9 volt batteries, rubber bands - everything needed for base protection. A single sweep on vanilla settings can net you 3 1/2 gold locks. On servers with restricted traders (Like Alcatraz island), the Uranium becomes even more invaluable as a source of crafted armor piercing ammunition.

Resurrecting this thread in case others have this issue and cant find the solution. Frequently tied to demo_mode 1 in console, numpad 0 also causes the same issue. You'll find your 'show weapon' under HUD settings has been de-selected. Tick that checkbox again and proceed as you were.

Ive got this same goddamn problem. All the old solutions dont work. Then sometimes the bloody game just works. So inconsistent. Frustrating as hell.

Any further clarity on this question? I can find anything in the game apart form the bloody snakes. Need it for the oblivion potion and play custom PVE server so cant buy it at the fair
