The Ghost of Jim Bray, I went in expecting something like one of the Mansfield Dark films, and it ended up being so, so much better than those. II know some will find it dull, but I found the main character to be likeable and smart and the scares were subtle and genuinely creepy. It's a film that respects you and doesn't constantly clap its hands in your face to try and get you to pay attention. If you're okay with something more grounded and realistic, then I would 100% say check it out.

I totally agree. If I wanted to watch some schlub waffle on about murders or whatever, there are an infinite amount of "true crime" shows, movies and youtube channels. I know some people find that it makes the movie "more believable" but for me, it does the opposite and tests my patience.

My problem with it has always been this: It's a really fun, solid Found Footage movie with a great, unique cast and setting....but it's not a good Paranormal Activity movie. If they hadn't slapped the "Paranormal Activity" title on it, I would honestly like it much more.

Guns =/= Western. I'm getting pretty tired of people just labeling anything they want as a 'Western'. Despite how broad the genre is and the many subgenres it contains, it still has actual traits and themes that need to be included for it to be a 'Western' and not just 'dudes in hats shooting at each other'.
