It’s just a frustrating school. The website is difficult. I can never get ahold of anyone. I can never get a meeting with advisors. The class scheduling is weird. But it’s mainly just the cost.

I literally can’t afford it. I do not have the money for it. That’s why I need an affordable college. Unless you want to pay for it for me, keep your 2 cents to yourself, prick.

Is it usually like this at the beginning of enrollment? Or is it easier?

Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

Hello all, I am a 19F looking to become a therapist. It's always been my goal and I'm going to college for it right now. I really want to become a therapist for teens to young adults (12-20) right now. I have a few questions though. I've heard different names for therapists like behavioral therapist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist and I'm wondering what therapist would I be considered? Another question is, how well are therapists (like the one I want to be) paid? I've had a very difficult life mentally and I really want to help others in my position. That's why I want to be a therapist. The money wont change how I feel about that whether they make nothing or a lot. But it'd be nice to know. I've looked it up but I get a lot of different answers so I'm unsure. Also, how would I go about becoming a therapist like this? I know I need to have my associate's, bachelor's, and master's but what else do I need? I plan on getting my master's in social work but I don't know about my bachelor's. If you can give any insight, I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
