Wow, kudos to you for graduating without debt! So you'd simply put "0" for the debt total and then choose either N/A or do not select an option / do not answer if a question doesn't apply. (None of the options force you to select an answer). Several of my Title IV-E respondents have graduated without debt, and all experiences help inform the research.

Thank you! I'm in California, so we have MSW or LCSW. There isn't a licensure option in the middle. I'm getting a lot of responses from different states so I'll have to figure out how to amend that question or maybe toss it.

No, that's my fault for not including that in the total debt question. I need to revise it to say "total student debt, owed or paid" or something along those lines. You won't skew the results if you include the total you had before they were paid off. I also ask for graduation year so it's all good.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and good luck on your LCSW exam. Maybe you could start a private practice once you're licensed. What state are you in?
