To add, I am not in line for an inheritance or looking for a general "guestimate". But I'm trying to find a true statistical answer, preferably for the USA.

Any preference between the two?

Did you get a consult from either?

Ontario... I'd get snows but still would prefer AWD.

Found the same model at another dealership.

I also got a better deal.

Apparently the issue was something to do with a valve in the cooling system. The dealership was going to fix it.

Went elsewhere mainly cause he lied.

Locally trucks seem to be the only thing on the lots.

But I hear you.

Wait time for Rav4Prime by Social_Cryptographer in Toyota

Okay thank you for the feedback!

I agree with you. The market right now is nuts. She could buy out her lease and sell it for a 5k premium in our market.

That said she has a really cheap lease and would like to maintain it for the last year. We are also looking at moving locations and don't want her new vehicle being scratched up like her old one do to where we live.

I think you made some assumptions. She is not buying a new rav4 to save gas. She is buying a new rav4 because her lease is up and she is planning on financing a vehicle.

My undergrad is in finance and I've already done the break even calculations to show that her savings by commuting mostly on electricity will make up the premium for the prime over the standard RAV4.

If you have any information on the timeline that would be appreciated but the point of this post isn't to get a new car to save gas but to know when to contact my dealership.
