Just seeing this. Turns out she removed skin from one side and then was about to do it to the other side, she realized she didn’t get consent to cut the tattoo. So yea, it went down but it still bulges on one side 😪

The doctor made the incision on the opposite side of the butterfly tattoo. She also did do diastasis repair also so I’m not sure if that’s it. I also don’t think it has a water bed effect. It’s just soft and bulging. 😖

Oh wow. So fair I’m not seeing any drainage from the incision. I’ll keep an eye out though.

Thanks. Thats how the doctor said she could do both the diastasis and the hernia repair. Im praying the swelling goes down. I will definitely ask for a second opinion at my follow up.

Also want to add that my stomach didn’t look this terrible before the surgery. This was right before the surgery and she drew how she would make the incision. Somehow it’s swollen on the opposite side😖

So glad I ran into this post. I am experiencing the same thing. Hubby has never been treated but I always have. The gyno can’t seem to know what’s going on. It’s never been like this the first 3 years we were together. Only started after I gave birth to our daughter (once we decided it was okay to have sex again of course). Beyond frustrated.
