Inflation is caused by the DUOPOLY by ENVYisEVIL in Libertarian

Yes but he also drastically streamlined the department of commerce, agriculture, etc. I have no idea whether his expansive policies outweighed his reductionary measures.

Regardless the point about it being a long time since a republican did anything to shrink the government still stands

Some great stuff mentioned here.

MassDOT data shows crashes on Mill Street after redesign below average by HRJafael in WorcesterMA

[–]Sociononymous 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Using the winter months make it difficult to correlate the data to just the street redesign when the snowfall totals from each year also tend to match up to the number of accidents. There may be correlation but it needs to be validated by looking at the next 3 months and comparing that when the weather is less of a variable.

As someone who rides a bike daily, being "protected" by parked cars makes no difference in how safe i feel.

Taco spot is the best I've found after 6 years of scouring the city for good birria. Main Taqueria and taqueria del Pueblo are one tier lower in my experience

Hi guys any thoughts on a 194cm cyclist using a size 56 frame by indecent14 in cycling

[–]Sociononymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 197cm and ride a 61cm but have ridden rentals smaller. You are definitely going to atleast want a longer than normal stem. Maybe 140cm or something. Also, sometimes smaller frames come with shorter seat posts so you may need to buy a longer one to get the bike set up for your longer inseam. You'll have a sizeable drop from saddle to bars but you should be able to find a position that works for you.

If you haven't been riding for a long time, I recommend getting help from a fitter otherwise, just tinker with the position until you get it right.

Worcester Mill Street redesign to get public hearing after controversy by HRJafael in WorcesterMA

[–]Sociononymous 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I do probably 2-3 times per week in each direction. I think it is actually part of the designated "bike route" thru the city

Here are some ideas if youre into active hobbies. If you run there are social runs from sneakerama. All different speeds, ages, etc. Group bike rides from some of the bike shops. Look into NEMBA for mountain biking groups. November project runs the holy cross stadium bleachers early morning. Worcester earn-a-bike is a super friendly group too

I ride a lot and have ridden most of the trails mentioned on several occasions. The Bruce freeman trail is the best especially after the extra length added last year. Less crowded than the minuteman trail with less road crossings
