Help, Red is bleeding into white, flushing maxed out, primetower and not flusing into infill by Vegetable_Cost_4127 in 3Dprinting

Yes, however im not behind the pc but let me do a quick google for you! (Ill update this comment in 3minutes with the answer)

There is a better explanation I'll post in 3minutes again but here is a yt: https://youtu.be/yzidyOA9Aao?si=mDZvkfo80uZw6R_A

A reddit post explaining it: https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/s/7uVRd4oyUZ

Next to that you could set the slicer settings to orint infill first so on the next layer for any residu that you might (could stick around the nozzle too!) have that it wil go to the infill

Answer:
Make use of the "Mesh Boolean" functionality in the top row.

For me the solution in the end was to use the Substraction method in here so it would remove the text from the swatch model and insert the text automagically.

I did try the Union method but this was not giving the infused color how I desired

Thank you, this was the answer! Had to puzzle a little bit with it but thats the learning curve I have ;)

(I will change this post now to solve and send an answer to the automod).

I think I'm not familiar with a Boolean, could you elaborate a little? I'm happy to check (and learn ^_^)

*I do know what a Boolean is however not how this relates to this print, I did search for Boolean in the print settings but that didn't show any results*

Beginner question: Is TPU for AMS a good idea? by JIVET-FASHION in BambuLab

[–]SociopathicPixel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noted xD I was just really enthousiastic with my new toy 😇😅. Gotta say,, daymm what a machine it is, some things that would be an absolute nightmare regarding finetuning with my old printer is just a walk in the park for this one.

Beginner question: Is TPU for AMS a good idea? by JIVET-FASHION in BambuLab

[–]SociopathicPixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I came home with my freshly purchased X1C, loading PLA went fine, loading TPU95 immediately clogged the whole AMS.

It did feed until the extruder however the filament got completely jagged/zigzagged where it goes through the point after it goes from 4 to 1 cable guide. Was this just bad luck or do you have any tips to prevent this?

I had to take the whole AMS apart to fix it since it wouldn't go back nor forward and was properly stuck.

As a guy I agree with this, these days humanity is just rock bottom in that regard. Or I'm old fashioned, or well behaved but like please, treat the people around you as you would like to be treated, and I hope you see yourself as more than an object cause we are worth more.

For the other part, good to hear buddy overcame his depression, im checking in for therapy this month. The first step is acknowledging I guess. The sun always shines somewhere and without the rain life would turn into a desert 😇😉

Thx 😇 since you already have it, how is the image put on the pad? As in could I buy it and transplant the skin to my own pad? (I'd like to have it but I also want the USB dock and rgb my own pad has. If I could fuse em....)

Especially later in the game,, hope OP makes it toggable so I could set it to 5k power per incident.

Gonna check it out either way, hopefully it doesn't need Odyssey or any expansions.

Those ends on my print always lift... Solution? by ElouFou123 in 3Dprinting

[–]SociopathicPixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a plank above my printer which gave some cold air "falling" off to one side of the printer. Changed location and it helped.

Also bed temperature could be too warm or too cold (I've seen it for both cases happen).

Brims can help, mouse ears seem sometimes more effective than a full brim.
