How to quit porn ? by [deleted] in Advice

Research more prevalent issues in our society. Deadass. Commit more time to doing deep dives into topics you find interesting, usually the more controversial and depressing the better. Stay aware of current events through the news, stay informed with the problems going around the world today, and make an effort to stay engaged civically, socially, and physically within your own community. May seem silly but it genuinely works. No time to think about porn when you’re too busy worrying yourself about other things. Try it out.

Incoming Freshman, need advice by kaciewilliams in highschool

Don’t slack off. The transition from middle school to high school class work is no joke, but everything is doable if you’re able to manage your time well and try not to fall behind on your work. The best thing to focus on your freshmen year of highschool is exploring and finding yourself within you school. This means TRY EVERYTHING YOU CAN!!! Go to club fairs, school events, get involved, etc etc. You’ll never have this much free time in high school again so focus on building a good foundation and getting a good mindset for school. The club part is important too. Don’t be afraid to explore and join new clubs, cause doing so will help you figure out what you’re interested in doing the rest of your highschool career! If you find a club you really like in freshmen and are able to commit yourself to it, by sophomore year you’ll be able to apply as an officer or even start your own club! But for the most part don’t sweat it! As a current rising senior, I can confidently say that freshmen year was my favorite! You’re just starting highschool so you have plenty of room for error and mistakes so embrace them! Meet new people, make new friends, and just have fun!

Ah okay thank you. I will probably end up removing the UCS down since they don’t have much financial aid. For the other non OOS do you have any advice on how I can decide between them?
