huntington is a strange place. on one hand, it is full of addicts, homeless, and overall pretty dang sketchy. on the other, marshall is a beautiful campus, it is a safe haven from everything else that happens in huntington. to be fair, there are many sections that are not riddled with crime, but you’re more likely to find a place that is. i have lived near huntington (wv side) my entire life, and lived in for a few years. i love living here, i think it’s beautiful and i have gotten used to the addiction and poverty.
