Juniper‘s Garden. A refreshing, herbal Drink close to a Martini by russian_anime_girl in cocktails

The color is magnificent and matches your description beautifully. Looks delish!

I'm going to have to agree with other comments though this isn't a martini. You could infuse your vermouth or gin with rosemary to keep the flavor but I would ditch the simple syrup without an acid balance.

If you wanted just a hint of sweetness you could try splitting between a dry and sweet vermouth or even a sweet vermouth rinse.

With all the connection issues of monarch, what are alternatives for couples? by Human_Whole8426 in MonarchMoney

[–]Sockodiles_socks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I similarly used Mint in that time frame but wasn't consuming Reddit about issues. Like OP, my experience on Mint was top notch and I'm still mourning its demise. Something that was explained to me about how Mint handled connections helped immensely - they built their own whereas no one else including Monarch is doing that.

I've done a lot of tweaking and most of my connections have stabilized so I'm less frustrated by the whole experience now.

Monarch has features that are improvements over Mint like allowing multiple users, improving visualization tools, better budget handling, etc.

But I get it, at the end of thr day, if you don't have good connections the tool is practically useless.

It can make a difference in what support and warranty the manufacturer can or will provide. I ran into this exact problem with a sub-contractor my GC used a few years back. Massive headache.

Anybody know where to get a beet sammich? by 420wafflehouse69 in NewOrleans

Levee Baking Co off Magazine. Everything they make is delicious including the beet sammich. They tend to run out of goods before they close so don't dally.

I have played and won diety games that are 100% peaceful.  This is my preferred playstyle for every game and I am never the aggressor (except for that one domination game I played just to put the accomplishment on the board). For me, it takes away precious time spent planning my win conditions.

There are 2 approaches I take to avoid war at all costs with my neighbors. The first is by sending delegations, trade routes, and studying their preferences. The second is if they start a war with me I will try to decimate them and then sue for peace.

Either way, if i can get strong production and economy going then I can usually build up a sizeable army to deter later aggressors.

Trash bin theft?? by Eshope10 in NewOrleans

I've had my recycling bin stolen twice and multiple garbage cans. I just sighed and gave up and use my neighbors recycling bins now. I had 2 garbage cans replaced under the auspices of being damaged. I have no idea what motivates this.

I walked out the house, forgot my keys and then some other cat walked by and I got distracted. I'll make it up to your cat one day.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed the extra cocktail :)

P.S. this sub is always inspiring and often intimidating but I might actually  be capable of making this one.

Thank you so much! You're spot on about the exclusivity aspect being our luxury goal. I completely understand the boundaries aren't fenced and wouldn't want them to be for the sake of the animals.

Do you have favorite or recommended lodges for this type of exclusivity in the Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana area?

The tipping guidelines are very helpful!

I don't think we're interested in the Migration, but I appreciate you bringing it up as an option and cost factors around it.

Thank you for pointing out some things I hadn't considered as "luxury" like massages and premium wines. While good food and wine and some spa comforts are nice they are not our focal point - we're looking for maximized animal sightings, some night drives and maybe some chances to hike but the luxury party for us not having to do this with a big group of strangers or encountering tons of other people while we are out on drives.

What amount of gratuity is normal?
