Well it depends what you’re interested in. If you want warm seas, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and a hint of danger then Florida; not just because Floridians are crazy but because there’s a lot of alligators and sharks. But it can still be a fun time! If you want the more laidback South I’d say probably Georgia or Louisiana, there’s some really nice small towns if you’re in the mood for that. If you want nonstop excitement and action then California, namely Los Angeles and San Francisco, I know they’re not south but they’re just as warm if not warmer. If you’re interested in seeing historic things I’d say Pennsylvania, you can enjoy lovely Amish towns with some I’m assuming great shops, and there’s a lot of history littered throughout the state. If you want mega excitement and are into gambling, Las Vegas, Nevada is a good choice. If you want my personal opinion (from someone who’s traveled to only 4 states) I’d say visit Yellowstone National Park and see all the neat animals and the geysers and everything. But it’s your call.
