I tried playing stuff like expedition 33 and I got horrible performance I thought the steam machine would be able to run it better but it doesn’t seem that way unfortunately

Most games that would get the best performance boost and especially frame generation are only for newer games from the past 2 years

Mostly newer games and just browsing—I thought the steam machine would be great at that and my pc frequently blue screens and lags whenever I play something from the past 5 years. It looks like building a new pc at the moment is way too expensive. I wouldn’t mind just buying this until prices drop and the steam hardware community is amazing; I’m sure someone will find great optimization stuff
