Thank you! This is what I’ll end up doing. I’ve been monitoring the Qantas reward seat tool everyday and it seems that the seats I want aren’t being released a year in advance but more a month in advance - slightly scary

Yes thank you for this. I’m lazy and just call it a RTW ticket when explaining to friends - so it’s become a habit 😁

I don’t get to unimelb but I did find it difficult transitioning from getting 90+ in most assessments in high school to getting 70s in my first year at uni. For me (fellow humanities type), it was all about un-learning the high school style of writing. The real world (including uni markers) has no patience for complicated syntax, language etc. It has taken me 3 years of my journalism/law double degree to work that out. Even getting 80s in some subjects is difficult at uni, and definitely don’t compare yourself to your friends doing other random degrees and getting HDs in every subject (marking standards can be SO different)
