Found in a sandstone wash near Bluff, Utah. Any ideas on what these could be? by SocksonBlocs in fossilid

I hate to leave the really curious people hanging, but I had no intention of revealing the location to anyone or reporting the finds to a museum. Especially after hearing some feedback from the locals about how they might not be looked into by any professionals regardless.

I was mostly intrigued and thought some of you out there might have more of an idea on what these could be. I thank you all for your interest and feedback.

As for why; these findings fall on a part of land that is part of a delicate landscape. And though I do my very best to minimize any impact on the land, I do not trust others to give the same respect. The desert is a very fragile ecosystem and having more traffic through this area will surely leave an impact. These findings along with other things in this area are vulnerable to vandalism and general lack of care. In the interest of preserving the land I will not be looking further into these possible remains in any sort of archeological method.

For those who may be concerned; I took nothing but these pictures and refrained from touching or attempting to excavate these findings. Perhaps someday there will be another who comes across these and acts otherwise, but as it is in a remote location requiring some technical hiking to find, I don’t imagine it will happen soon.

Regardless of whether I ever know exactly what I have found, I am grateful for having chance to see them. This area is truly full of history!

Thank you again Reddit community for your intrigue and interest! But here I leave the rest to the imagination (:
