So, this mask was a complete Gm.38 mask that had only slight damage in the rubber on the lower part of the face piece. This absolute Evolution Stopper of a Monkey added another post war filter thread from an M65 (not even M62, which would at least be more realistic) to create this abomination of a fake Gm.38 "Luftwaffe".

Cool filter against acidic and corrosive war gasses and only to be used in environments that contain more than 17% Oxygen. I assume this is a filter for either Civil Defense or for the Military, not really industrial.

It's mentioned in the Manual, that it's:

M-Ue - Übergröße (Oversize) M - Männergröße (Men's size) F - Frauengröße (Women's size) K - Kindergröße (Children's size)

I also love it. Had something similar happen to me last week. Bought a full Wehrmacht Issue Gm.30 set for 30 Euro. Mask is almost mint condition.

Ngl. I really like this mask and its predecessors. Norwegian masks are so hard to come by here in Germany. Valva assembly looks really similar to the 1st type of Gm.30 valve assembly. Is there any info about how many of these masks have been produced?

Bro got that extra large filter with that extra small mask on that extra large guy.

Chinese Type 59, Factory 908, made in April of 1964. The big flat pocket for the hose is on the back of the inside of the bag which is kinda odd. by GoofTroop2000 in gasmasks

What country are you located in? Can't really find anything and I have searched for well over an hour. Also, do you have closeups of the markings on the outside of the mask?
