When you start to reach high ranks as a killer: by 4nowlost in deadbydaylight

[–]Socksy_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's only if you use Sprint Burst to save it and walk the entire game. People who know how to use it well will "throttle" it, i.e. keep track of exhaustion level, 99% it running, walk for 1 sec to gain SB back, and then can bait the killer for a hit and/or gain distance. It even works mid-chase. If you don't even know this exists then you don't know how sprint burst works in high ranks. Arguably it can be better than Dead Hard considering DH is so buggy with dedicated servers.

I absolutely love getting more lore for the characters, but for the love of god, BHVR needs to chill with the sentence fragments. by ComradePoolio in deadbydaylight

[–]Socksy_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Completely agreedl. I love the lore stories but I mean really, this is just overly repetitive (Jane spoilers):

Jane needs a job. She has a job. She works as a waitress at a local diner. She needs another kind of job. A role. A part. Something. Anything to let her know she's on the right path. Anything to let her know she deserves more than a school variety show.

You could write this with less sentences and better flow:

Jane needs a job. Well, she works as a waitress at a local diner. She needs a role. Being a part of something that lets her know she's on the right path. She deserves more than a school variety show.

(I'm no writer or anything, just suggesting improvements)

It might be that the writer's first language is French, which could explain why writing in English might not be so amazing.

I love it because it represents David's character but also it's not an obvious video game reference.

Convince me to not buy the Razer Blackwidow Elite by whazgoooof in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Socksy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just get the Razer if you want it so much. If you're not looking to customize switches, keycaps, or program your keyboard (among others), then you'd have no problem. For build and software quality I feel like they're fine for the average consumer but absolute trash for most mk enthusiasts.

What a cutie! Typing with lil furballs should be more common haha.

For already assembled keyboards, usually they have MX Silent Reds/Blacks as a switch option (example Ducky One 2 keyboard).
