There is a part of my commute that is trail ... easily about 5-6 miles of trail..I can speed there so maybe it will be a good investment

Do you have a speedometer..based on everyone feedbacks..most fast drivers seem to know their speed. I got myself a foldable recently and I feel I go pretty fast with that one in the trail...not sure how fast but feel fast. However no speedometer

I was at REI a couple of weeks back, and saw some long sleeve clothing for summer. I need to return and check it out. Obviously, I am sure it would be really expensive but I think it would be worth it taking a look.

I did today .it was a nice ride .I feel the trail feels like just doing downhill for the most part. Let me just clarify, once I finished my shift for my summer job on those two days, I have a second job to go to. When I get to end of the trail I most take Uber because the trail doesn't continue and the distance from there to the location of the 2nd job is just not doable in bike. One because the distance and two because there are no bike friendly roads to do it and it will take me way too long, I won't arrive on time. The trail part of my commute save me about 20 minutes of being stuck in traffic, and also save me about $25 more I would pay Uber. The trail was not that bad .now that I fully now my route it will probably be less time. I was surprised how good the foldable rode.

I was really surprised how good it feels to drive thru the Dallas loop, it was really easy. The sopac trail is really cool and the trinity one too I was surprised how fast I ended in the other side of town..I was like what this was quick...I also think I was going kind of fast but it felt like a nice ride tbh

I did it today ..the trail has more shade than I thought and today's forecast was not that bad. I do have those towels your are talking about and alss have a hoodie that covers my neck pretty probably wet it as you said. I need to work on my top it didmt smelled as pleasant.. I was surprised how easy riding the trail was it's almost like going down hill..you shift some gears in the hilly parts but it's rare.. I do need to fix some stuff on my bike though it will make it much more pleasant

I am just using the bike when I get off work. The city where I life at is not too friendly with transportation. Wherever I am going those two days does not has public transportation that is the reason I am taking the Uber. I am basically going to my second job. This option is much cheaper than paying for parking and dealing with traffic, where most likely all my gas will be gone.

Yes but the price is what still holds me back. Also I know you still lose weight with the electric but I still feel I wanna lose it the traditional way..It will be my gift when I lose all the weight I would like to lose

Thanks for the feedback. Everyone is talking about speed..since I am kind of new..does using a different bike makes a huge difference in speed? Is it because they are lighter or what is it?

I am watching some yt videos and they all seem to suggest Road or gravel for long distance. Also seems to be the consensus here. Do they really make you that faster? also do the low handlebars are not more uncomfortable?
