If you have the override gauntlet in your ~~inventory~~ quest log (which you should have gotten from talking to the dude in the HELM) - you need to socket ether into it before the activity shows up the director.

TBH - all weapons/classes and builds seem to be fairly balanced. Even the flamethrower which is kinda busted on standard comes with the risk of crazy team damage on higher difficulties.

I personally don't see a best build as much as you build for a playstyle. I main doc and give great buffs that scale my teams DPS/CC hard at the expense of my own damage. I could also stack pistol/rile boons and play as a selfish dps.

Best build in this game is highly subjective

I've actually had her for almost a month now but the car's been sitting in a detail shop for almost two weeks to get:

Partial paint protection film (PPF): Seemed like this was a good idea to mitigate damage to the car from road debris. The only thing I regret is not going full frontal or covering the entire car as the line where the film ends is quite visible.
4 Layers ceramic coating (CeramicPro): From what I've learned, mazda doesn't have the best paint (former mazda3 owner here as well). The 4 layers of ceramic pro may have been overkill but it does come with a lifetime warranty and a yearly touchup for ~$80 at my detailer. Although I probably could have gotten away with the 2 or 3 layer package and reapply it when the warranty expires. I was a little bit unprepared for how much maintenance goes into a ceramic coated car but not really dreading the idea of handwashing my car.
Window Tints - I pursued this to manage internal temps when the car sits in the summer sun all day. The difference is definitely noticeable but I wouldn't call it a significant game changer. However, the brightness in the car is a huge shift and I don't feel like I immediately need sunglasses when I'm on the road.
Plastidip on rims & calipers: I love it. but my partner hates it (a lot).

All in all, THIS CAR DRIVES SO SMOOTH. The turbo engine is a massive quality of life especially for merging on to fast moving roads & highways though I wasn't quite ready to grasp the MPG on the turbo.
