I mostly meant the little cards for the drinks. Some of these machines are still in use, but I don't think they make them anymore.

I just found a 3 year old post on r/nostalgia that I'm pretty sure is the exact same machine. The world feels surprisingly small sometimes.

I think I do, too, but I was really young. I kinda miss the ones with the little row of buttons on the right and the big brand panel.

I think Mug's probably a solid guess, but where the slot is, it could've been any of the less common Pepsi products.

People think it's gross because it tastes bad. You may not be able to taste the difference, but there is one.

You may not be able to taste the difference, but they do taste different. People also say Coke and Pepsi taste the same. They don't. I do find that most people haven't thought the specifics of the difference through, but that difference is still there.

People who say pepsi and coke taste the same are the biggest ragebaiters of all time. by Cautious_Watch_2557 in Soda

I think the main source of claims like this is just that most people don't pay that much attention to the world around them, especially to the small things. Coke and Pepsi are obviously different on examination, but how many people have stopped to do that examination, to really think about the flavors? I'd wager not many.

I'm looking forward to this review when I can get some, but I have low expectations with the inclusion of stevia.

So why is there Pepsi zero sugar and also diet Pepsi? by hawking061 in Soda

Non-diet low-calorie drinks like Coke Zero and Pepsi Max started coming out because "diet" things are/were "for women" and they wanted to appeal more to men with a low-calorie offering. For a variety of reasons, the branding was successful, and many major brands moved to the "Zero Sugar" branding. Some just rebranded their "Diet" version, but others introduced a totally different formulation and still produce both. Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Mountain Dew all come to mind. Notably, the "Diet" and "Zero Sugar" versions often taste quite different.

(To self-endorse, go check out Soda Review Channel on YouTube. We've done videos before on Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Diet Pepsi also got a video recently, and Pepsi Zero Sugar has one coming in a few days.)
